I thought it said in the Guide/FAQ
It was up for debate whether this offense worked properly and efficiently in the old game engine and because of that it is probably the least favourite offense in BB. It was rarely used by top teams prior to the game engine change
I don't think many teams like princeton, personally I don't like princeton, maybe you like it, but I don't. I'm more for these tactics; Look Inside, Push the Ball, and Motion.

Whoever wrote the FAQ probably applied to Princeton University & got rejected.

The only reason I don't use Princeton every game is that I'd be too dominant. I don't think the game can handle a team scoring over 999 points in a single game. Which i assume I would once my players got used to it.
