Right on Polle it's good such a rare Belgian talent stays in a good Belgian team.
You did a honorable thing by buying this scarce Belgian talent and thus making sure this talent
doesn't get wasted by a stupid Czech (why the f*** did he get into this ? )

BB goes crazy lol. 3,78M for Arvin Put... WTF!? Ok he's good but even if it's very likely he will be a NT player in the future, his inside skills are really low. Why the belgian players are so expensive? Because we want them all here, and because during 2 full seasons no future NT player was on sale. But that doesn't explain why a crazy Czech wanted him so much lol.

Yep, that's extremely expensive, in that price range one would expect a fully or almost fully trained AS or AF in both primary and secondary skills (at least I know I wouldn't spend that much money on anything else than that).
But Polle said himself in a previous post that he was targeting Belgian players and that his goal for this season is not to fight for staying in BBBL. Hence, he has the possibility to train Put out of position for the remaining of the season and several more after this one.
I think it's an as good motivation as any to try to bring a player to our NT and well, I guess it is safe to say that Polle, by fighting this CZ manager on the bidding, saved a rare talent (in the current circumstances considering the poor drafts of the last seasons) for the NT in the mid-term....so, kudos Polle! (y)

Basically I would have stopped bidding that high if any other BBBL manager was going to get him.
I didn't want him to go to waste by a Czech manager (in III division if I'm not mistaken).

Ps: that manager mailed me afterwards asking for tips to improve and how to manage his team. Which makes me think I made the right choice of not letting Put go to him.

@Joe,
I'll mail you later this week so we can discuss his training.
But I don't have any problems for out-of-position training: I don't have any real ambition yet in BBBL

Funny when you see that he is playing this game since season 3 :)
Anyway, that might explain why he was so much after a player, although, with the amount of cash he has on his account, he must see much better players all the time in the adds only...oh well... (BB) (BB)

Seems like we have two Abramovitch to finance the NT now, that's good news! (party)

Second Team:
Eupen Scythe
That's really cool to see that kind of player to stay in Belgium and play BBBL.

@Polle : that story about the Czech manager is incredible, so the guy had basically no idea what he was doing ?! Nice work grabbing Put away. He's a really cool prospect, and has a lot of potential. Only thing is, I really don't like his lack of secondaries, but I'm confident that you will find the best possible training plan for him with Joe's help ! And anyway he'll be a nice player whatever happens.

I must admit I may have played a role in the ever increasing price of belgian talents ! On the other hand, they're well taken care of ... mostly :p

@Joe, gratz on your B3 win, seems the winner takes it all this week :p
