You are the Donald Trump of English Basketball.

Even though i can see the sarcasme in this statement (not to mention the fun) as a GM, i should remember you that referring to politics isn't allowed. Please try to avoid it in the future B)

Media lies.

Same goes for you Gully :/

If you fail to abide by the rules, i might need to use "Alternative Facts" as a motivation for your forum vacations B)

@hupfingatsch
...so don't lose.

Great Goal! Isn“t it? O:) (y)

Beating England on their Home court would be a feat. they are currently riding a 15 game win streak on their homecourt (scrimmages not included). So beating them on their own court would be an achievement. Teams that often go to the world cup (such as Australia) or perenial europe cup contenders (such as Germany) haven't been able to do it. So you'd have something to brag about ;)

best of luck for monday (but forgive me if i'll be rooting for the Brits ;)

@Morwood:

gratz on making the next round. Not that i doubted it. remember, i'm expecting you to make the semi's at the very least!

Mate, we haven't lost at home since the consolation semi against Italy on october 6th 2015. Is that one of your alternative facts? :p

Shame the streak ended but TIE v Crunch was always going to be difficult. I think we did well to keep it so close for so long. Qualification is all that matters, so job done, and move on.

Huge result considering the crunch. Seriously impressed with the team this year.

New experience for us being at this stage. Anything we do now is a bonus. Finland did well today, as would anyone who faces us. I don't feel we're done yet.

No need to be sorry mate.

There comes a time when some coaches can only get teams so far.. Maybe this is where it is for me.

Not having that. This is only one game, and yes Finland made a good prediction but that doesn't make it your fault. I know that's how it feels when you choose something and it goes wrong but you can't get every decision right, and no one should expect that.
