Did you watch NBA finals? Pierce for most of the time made lay-ups from Garnet's screens. I think that is inside game!

oh oh

my mistake on the boston celtics thing, sincere apologies.

true! layups but comeon who is making em the guards right. we are discussing dominant big men here in bb since developing them some would think is the best since high %'s of getting in.

i mean why would garnett screen the guy ? because his guarded and he cant take the J so he drives with the screen, now if you dont have well skilled guards to finish i dont expect just after the screen there will be no one contesting that shot of his that why we call it help defense.

anyways my mistake :D

another to add to this just because he makes layups means inside game no!

the offense is focus on pierce, and he takes his game from outside and adjust it to inside.

if taking 18 footer jump shots and also creating his mismtaches or chances to score by driving is a inside focus offense, could it be only taking 3 ooints are consider outside focus?

The Chicago Bulls played a motion offense when they won at least three of their six. Unless of course you consider Luc Longley to be a good example of inside game.

Once I scored a basket that still makes me laugh.

luc longley is a jump shooting center, yes he got inside moves but not the likes that can really make him a threat inside.

and of course the motion offense they have let them have enough shots but not as those of pippen and jordan

I think this discussion is prety useless.

How to play you game is depending on both your own and your opponent's team. I realy can't see why inside teams would be dominant over outside teams.

I played inside and outside this season, and I believe I played most of my cup games offensively outside, and managed to reach the finals this thursday. Yet I train inside, and my inside men are my best!

I also strongly believe that with an inside focus last thursday, I would not have won the game! Even though my inside men are the guys I should count on in difficult situations as these. NO! if your opponent has a strong inside team, like my opponent had last thursday, then use this to your advantage! Play outside. Every 3-point shot in 2 attacks can give you 6 points, for which he needs 3 attacks on the inside!

The trick is to have a team as balanced as possible.
With a balanced team, if you get to play a strong inside team, you can win using outside. The other way around, if you face a strong outside team, you can use your inside, but you will have to make up for the extra points he will score in 3-pointers,...

So which would be dominant you'd say??

They are not your friends; they dispise you. I am the only one you can count on. Trust me.

right now there are only few well balanced team, so teams with better big guys rules. it's all there

vječna dilema, da li je bolje zabiti koš više ili primiti koš manje?

that is possible, but this means those teams chose to train inside. Does this mean the game is imbalanced?
I don't think so.
Should these exact same teams have chosen to train outside, then you'd probably complaint about the game being imbalanced and the outside rules in this game.

I think that overtime we will see outside as well as inside teams rule the BB world, but in the end I strongly belief that the most balanced teams will end up having the best chances to come out on top of BB world, because they can handle any other team, and use the tactics in their benefit, where 1-sided teams are stuck with their side and have limited options...

It will all clear out over time, I don't think it would be wise to alter or even tweak something right now.

Uhh sorry Doom but i must contradict you again:-).Your examples are not the best because the other teams are too bad or choose the wrong tactic. But thats not the point. The point is show me one guard in the whole BB world who shoot over 60%.I have a guard with JS 13 and JR 13 and it is too easy to destroy his game.A center with IS 13 needs first less training to climb to 13 and second its hard to defend him if you not have a defender in his skill area. And thats the reason why the best teams are Inside focuse Teams thats for sure!!!

Cheers
