This son of his needs to play NBA - just for the name:

"One of his sons with Ajok, Bol Bol, was a 6 ft 5 in (1.96 m) tall 7th grader as of October 2012 and considered one of the better basketball prospects of his class."

That is nothing, I was also a 6'5" 8th grader (ok one year later) but sadly that was basically it for me only one more CM.

Not quite, about 6'0" actually and my mum was short but she was a sprinter who broke some (local) records in her day. You can imagine how dominant I was as a 6'5" year eight and how bad I was by year 12 when I was still 6'5 1/2" and only had inside skills and all atrocious outside skills. Took years to catch up, it is much better to start short and have a late growth spurt.

they always say that NBa is a Big mans game, but look at the legends: Muggsy Bogues, Spudd Webb, Chris Paul, Tony Parker, ...

plenty of little men who had major inmpacts.

And Manute Boll died in 2010 no?

When I played Under 16s (you were not allowed to turn 16 that year) for Parramatta in the Sydney Conference we had the smallest side with only 2 players 6'2 me and one other guy who both were in the NSW Squad as Guards. Every other side had guys 6'8+ while one side had 5 guys 6'7 or more with the biggest guy being 6'11 as a 15 year old.

We had one move. Fast break. Did well most the time coming 4th in comp and State Championships.

I was 6'2 before I was 13. My Dad was 6'2 not long after turning 11. Was state 100m and long jump champ for a couple of years until others grew a little.
