Hahaha, yup. I'm trying to talk myself into being happy that training will be easier next season.

If Dog Rivers promotes, I would not even be a favorite to win it all next season, your team could surpass mine. I don't know what your plan is, but you scare me as well.

Well, Billingsley just went down. The refs need to start ejecting people.
Geez, talk about retaliation...and that was the end for you. Like I said, injuries can suckit, especially in the playoffs.

I agree 100%. It always feels like injuries only tend to happen in the critical moments. I hate injuries and how frequent they seem to be in the playoffs or must win games. Just seems unrealistic to me. This is two straight seasons where I have lost my starting Center to injury in an important playoff game. Thankfully this time the result were different, mainly because of another untimely injury, but it just seems to have too big of an effect on things. I know, I won so I shouldn't complain, but I just don't like the way injuries are generated.

Good game daryk, I feel bad that injuries had to effect our well played game.

Superior doctor is a lifesaver. I've had one for 3 seasons now, and I rarely ever see an injury.

a few seasons ago, i was in both the zone and a cloud as i was happily winning. only afterwards did it become clear to me that stretch coincided with a period of no injuries. last season, when i promoted, i won only because the best team in the league was crushed with an injury in the semifinals. i realized then that championships require a lot of things to go well, a whole series of events to break your way.

i am rediscovering in the relegation match with Dei that losing is simple -- you stink, you lose. winning, however, is more complex.

I've had an exceptional doc for the past 3 seasons. It doesn't seem to make any difference during the game, as I've had 3 game-injuries this season.

Shit happens.

It isn't the doctor thing as I have had an exceptional doctor for a long while, can't remember how long. It was my understanding that the better doctors just help with limiting the length of injury after the game, not the likelihood of injuries in game.

It will be cleared up in a little bit. Usually cleanup of tb games runs Sunday night.

AZ, the Riverdogs were very lucky to win tonight. I'm glad that I don't have to play you again this season. My hat is off to your great team.

Congrats on making the finals Pappy and good luck! I can't believe you have made the playoffs all 11 seasons you have been in II.4, that's just ridiculous. Interestingly enough, in our combined 17 seasons in II.4, we have totaled 17 playoff berths, but each of us have only made the semifinals once prior to this season, and this the first finals appearance for both of us.

We both have teams that are versatile on offense with good all-around defense and look to be in about the same enthusiasm and GS shape. Should make for a good chess match in the upcoming week!

Thanks, Harp, and congratulations to your fine club also. You know, this will be the Riverdogs' 15th consecutive playoff appearance, and as you so astutely noted, the first II.4 league title one. So I'm really not sure of the overall significance:-), except maybe that we're both newbies in this II title role. You have a very solid club with some great players, so I know that this will be a tough battle for the Riverdogs. Once again—as usual in this tough league—two very fine clubs went down in the conference finals: Congratulations to both Machines and Bullish for excellent seasons!
