My draftee Duke Murry. 18 yo MVP potential. 4/4/7/6/6/7 // 6/4/4/6. 54 TSP to start. 6'10". He is going to be a big man with great secondaries some day. I just wish he had HOF potential.

Mine is 8/7/8/5/5/5 // 5/7/3/6. 6'3" I'll push him to SF. I also wish he was a HOF or ATG.
I think your skill set is good enough to justify him being #1 over mine since he's 18.
I'm sure I'll screw up his training regardless. My luck and he'll have the hidden skill of fouling out within 20 minutes every game, and getting 3 week injuries twice a season.

You definitely got the better of the two 5/5 19 year olds. I got the other one and he's an MVP with 46 TSP: 7/7/8/3/4/2/8/4/2/1. Not bad and fits my training schedule of 1v1 for now, but would have liked 5 more skill points or so.

My draftee (#3 on my board behind the top 2 picks) turned out to be pretty good as well.
7/7/7/6/7/6 7/1/6/6 4/7 18 years old but unfortunately only all-star potential.
Tbh, might keep him as a tertiary trainee and play him as a backup 30k G a few years down the road.

This is what frustrates me about BB!! :-( Everyone of us should be comparing notes on how great our draft picks are...at least the first round if not first 1.5-2 rounds. I didn't buy any scouting points, and had no expectations, but my first round pick was a $966 player with like 7 ratings that were atrocious or pitiful. There is no excuse for BB not having enough solid players in the draft that every team should have at least 1 keepable player They are totally missing the boat :-(
People are writing into the BB Facebook page pissed off about how horrible their drafts were...this draft system really sucks the fun out of the game for some...I think it's the #1 reason BB not only doesn't grow, but is losing people.

Well I know you have read some of my rants before and you know I agree 100%. The draft and scouting made last season fun but it takes a couple season worth of draft points to really participate. They should really make the draft enjoyable every season for every manager. Add some 22 year olds to the draft that can be backups now. Have enough 18 and 19 year old perr all star potential guys that each team gets one every season. It would spur training at every level of the game.
I also don't like the fact that it takes 3 actual years to build a NT member. Three real life years is insane. It needs to be cut in half.

I agree with you. Scouting should be cheaper and you should get clearer views of draftees' skill sets. And, yes, training should be faster.
However, this past season, our draft was loaded. I didn't want to give it away last season as I was hoping to get 2 good trainees. But I got 3 - MVP, SS and a PAS. You certainly could have gotten 1 of those had you scouted. Of course, when I was doing well, I wouldn't scout either as I always assumed it wasn't worth it unless you got top 3. I think this draft was an anomaly with how many good players there were (caveat - I didn't scout any skill sets, only opened up potential).
