Plenty of Drama Tonight
(Marietta) -
There is plenty to play for as the III.4 season winds down.
Four teams are battling for three spots in the Big 8 bracket. If any one of them trips up, a rival will step in their place.
Champaign and Marietta both need a win in their final two games to secure a playoff berth.
E.C. High Flyers are playing two must-win road games to close the season...tonight in a tough one against the Marietta Magic, and it doesn't get any easier for the Eau Claire crew in their final game against Champaign.
The Crazys will get an easy win against San Diego on Tuesday, but the Red Terrors may pose a threat in the final game. Recent purchases suggest the Terrors are gearing up for next season.
The TDX Dutchmen will also benefit from a Crusaders walkover in the final two matches, but the Terrors once again will play a role in the outcome of the conference.
Over on the Great 8 side, Illusion is safe (and had been for some time). 1Derz Bangers have also clinched a playoff berth, but it will depend on the final games to determine the seeding.
One win in their final two games will put Prov City Investors into the playoffs. Against Red Claws or Armageddons, chances are very good.
The Chicago Goats will benefit from the Gavno implosion, and a win or a Armageddons loss will see them through to the playoffs.
Armageddons aren't out, but will have to beat two elite squads to have a chance for the postseason.
So, there's a lot on the line in these last two games. Not to mention, the MVP race and ROY.
My vote is for Mannu and Souza, but I'm a little biased.
What do you think?

The MVP race in my rankings show that Mannu, Eler, Mayagoitia, and Beavers are all in line to fight over the final two games. If Mannu plays either and scores high, he's got the award locked up. I think it's between Mannu and Beavers for #1 and #2 but Mannu has a little over a 2 pt lead. It's gonna be a close race.

I would tend to agree with you on the MVP candidates.

I sent a bribe to the officials. Carmona is getting his first MVP.

Watching my game and the Flyers v. Magic (now in OT) at the same time has been tense as hell. My guys pulled out a gutsy win, rooting hard for Mannu and company.
Magic pull it out, so the final playoff spot will come down to the last game. I've got the Crusaders walkover win, so it's up to Flyers to pull off an upset.

Managed to survive.
The Flyers are tough.
You'll need the Flyers to lose by more than 7 to have a shot at the playoffs.

We're tied right now. Flyers loss + Dutchmen auto-win vs. Crusaders puts me ahead regardless of point differential.

Mannu will be the MVP. I don't see anyone top him. Looking at his stats I can say Eler will be on top 3.
form is temporary class is permanent

I am in a financial crisis so whoever pays me most gets the PO spot.
joke aside, flyers vs. champaign will be huge.
