I wasn't saying me in general this is purely hypothetically speaking . I said what give the system the right to lock teams into training. This defeats the purpose of "free market for all" which is my point.

It just leads to who have the most money ruling the game and ones that don't have any cant even get a decent player unless they train and make him better. So from any angle its still a catch 22. If they go bankrupt then let them, who's fault is that. Its not system job to save teams. Nor should the system be saving teams and restricting sales for team progress or failures.

Teams are going train players regardless, if a manager buys a player they cant afford and go bankrupt, Then its just a lesson learned. Once you start restricting sales of player then , it will kill this game more than already being killed. A slow death turns to a fast death.

If the system had something like a player wont sign to your ball club because your not winning coach r team. Then hey all is fair game. but some thing like what this suggesting is pure prejudice. ( while I do agree they can get better for these amounts ,Im just playing devil advocate here). What give the system the right to do so?

Off top topic when you are guys going to fix the game simulator. I had players getting fouls that where not even the game. I had player getting double fouls when the other team called time out. All this registers in the game , making team player lose out on play because faulty bugs. I understand its a simple mistake but come on man, It getting really tired of whats going on.

This is off topic Perpete but the topic was raised in this thread. Limit buys to two times the TV money. I think this is an excellent idea and I think an even more radical idea could work wonders and fix a lot of the problems in BB easily.

What if you could not buy players above one times your leagues TV money unless you were in division I? For Australia division II TV is about $130-140,000. No-one in division II really needs more expensive players than that. But the messed up way the market is at the moment you are virtually forced to get a couple of $200,000 "rentals" to compete with your opponents in the finals. This leads to teams promoting to division I with a massive debt and tanking back down right away.

It would actually encourage training. It would save teams from this suicidal arms race where you can buy a $250,000 a week player for $100,000. It would mean teams actually look for good value players. I don't know what the TV money is for lower leagues but if it forced teams to be sensible it seems like a great idea.

When you try and bid on a $300,000 a week player while you are in division IV you should get a message like, "Sorry coach, I am looking to play in a league with a bit more competition where I can showcase my skills against real opponents."

The by-products of this is making things much harder for farms, encouraging training, sending a ton of useless free agents into retirement and helping managers to not wreck their own teams. Win-win-win-win.

Well I will be the first cheater to post on this thread. I think it is important that everyone knows that the staff of Buzzerbeater is indeed working to rid of those with multiple accounts. Now while my intentions were not to swindle or cheat, I simply had an addiction to managing, I was still guilty of breaking the sites rules. I managed each of the 3 teams I owned to a promotion up to Division 3. I nearly had one that I was on the verge of getting to Division 2 up until the day I was caught late in the season. I deserved my website ban that I was given because I simply broke the rules even though I had not cheated in the sense of just passing money along to one squad to strengthen them. Rules are rules and are put there for a reason.

My only concern is that it took way too long to find out the fact that I had multiple accounts. I started on Buzzerbeater back in Season 8 as Marine Corps Bulldogs (IV.28), season 10 San Diego Buckeyes! (V.32), and lastly in season 11 Cosmo Canyon Spirit (V.118). It wasn’t until Season 19 when I made a dumb decision to make a tiny, less than 50k purchase from one team to another that all three of my accounts were banned. I went to log on and it said my account was no longer active and I received an email stating I had to serve a website suspension.

I just loved the game so much that I was willing to put my original team at risk. It was a mistake but when you have such a strong product I feel there is always going to be people out there trying to break the rules. A common thing that I did to relate my accounts was that I just scrimmaged myself to guarantee I would get my players the 48 mins necessary for training. That is a small indicator along with noticing that all of my accounts had to have had the same exact IP address.

To get my extra dose of managing and not making the same mistake twice is that I joined Crossover, which is clearly WELL behind in being a solid product in comparison to Buzzerbeater. The important thing to know is that the admins do catch people that are out there trying to cheat and I hope they have improved in their methods of finding those guilty.

In Spain we have just under 3k users. That means some users will want to train the best player possible either buying 18 year old players or just by having luck in the draft.

Lets take the example of our starting SF, Bañales. The manager wanted to make a couple a once in a generation player and he bought a very good 19 yo player:

Transfer 9/20/2009 10 Purchased from kindong hearts for $ 3 000 000

Trained him until he has 28yo, he was on track of making him the best in BB, on the way the player help him promote from Div V to Div III. But all his hopes were shattered when Bañales capped. He was a very good player, but not the best as was his goal. So demoraliced and after 20 seasons of playing the game he quit.

20 seasons of playing are a lot, that is 2007. The guy was just tired and he quit, Bañales went FA and that would have been the end of the player in your system. Why should all NT fans in Spain pay for a couple of cheaters. If you are worried about cheating talk about sabotage. I am in favour of 2x tv revenue rule to help avoid sabotage, but Free agents not allowed in NT teams is not a well thought solution as a big porcentage of the bb-players go free agent in some point of their bb-carreers.
