The advice I would have given you would have been not to bother CT seeing that you should be concentrating on doing well in your league and there was absolutely no chance of you winning the Tournament so for the sake of winning a match you have messed up your league chances. Not good when you are sitting last

Also by writing in this thread you more or less let me know you were desperate so I expected a CT - hence I adjusted to normal when I would have normally TIE at this stage.

Wow.

Gutted to get yet another injury in a game. The same happened last season at this stage on the road to a CT. Comgrats to Cranston, I hope you manage to make the final, it's a good fun experience

Thanks mate, I tuned in 20 minutes into the game and was quite surprised to be winning :O
2-3 zone is supposedly broken and my team isn't built to play LI but your injury and the CT helped I guess ;) Hopefully I have enough enthusiasm left to beat the Div 2 guy and make the top 4.

That's the tournament, its always worth having a go. I was just glad Folo wasn't permanently injured, being down 1 guard has already screwed my B3 this season, being down two and i'd had probably just sold the entire team and re-rolled the dice for the next 10 seasons plan.

Injuries change everything, 1 player can mean the season. I was close today to lose one and watch the film from last seasons repeating again. In 7-8 players roster it's massive. Hadn't you lost your PG it would've meant easy wins on matches you've lost. It's even more unlucky since it's happened in an important season stage.

Yeah thats BB, hopefully I'll get my players back soon as being a starter down has the knock on effect of overplaying minutes on the rest of the team. If I get another injury, I can pretty much wave goodbye to the playoffs at the end of the season. It's that tight.

Nice to see you can win a Cup game without rubbing your opponent's nose in it as you did with Bergkamp.

I really think you should rub Gully's nose in your latest cup victory ;-)

He'd probably be better off using last season's win but that probably wouldn't have the desired effect either.
