Second time there is a problem with fans and attendance and second time my attendance gets untouched. I was playing on TV against a rival and had a little more than half attendance... I really wanna know what sort of excuse they'll find now.

The fact that the match is a TV match against a rival doesn't really boost the attendance numbers (I agree that it should, it's just not done that way now). Maybe it's because it wouldn't be fair to everyone if it was since we have 3 TV matches and you might only have one rival match which might not be a home one.

So, looking at your numbers from before the playoffs (which are severily boosted in attendance and cannot compare), you can compare them quite easily to your first match, considering that the start of the season always sees a cooldown by the fans (this happens to everyone).

I am a bit lost with all the recalculations. Is it over now ?

If yes, is this attendance normal ?

I was promoted in league 2 as a champion, I pretty much did a ratio rule compared to my main team (also promoted in league 2 as a champion with similar number of subscribers but bigger arena) and the difference in revenue is 113k$ (33% less).

It's over.

The attendance seems low, but as I explained it the post above, the start of the season sees a form of "normalisation" of fan spirit, hence teams that had the most successful last season, feel the drop the most. Also, I don't know if you changed ticket prices which might have affected the numbers too.

Comparing to your primary team, there is a slight difference in seasonal ticket holders, a substantial difference in ticket prices and a big difference in the size of the arena, all of which, combined, can affect ticket sales enough to explain the difference.

Hi there!
I'm another one of the damaged because of the bug/miscalculation/criteria change or whatever you want...
I've had no change after all the recalculations you've made.

This is what I got:
and the last matches results:
37 season (http://www.buzzerbeater.com/team/79127/schedule.aspx?season=37)
38 season (http://www.buzzerbeater.com/team/79127/schedule.aspx?season=38)

So, I can't understand the hard punishment applied.
I observed that during the week of play-offs and final, the fan survey showed very bad marks that had nothing to do with the results of the season. I wonder if the last match problem carries the mistakes caused at the end of the last season.
I'd like to say that I checked all the teams of my league at the end of last season, and none of them had such drop in assistance, even the ones loosing all the matches.
Thanks and sorry for my english....

This is a very weird case here. I can maybe explain the drop in attendance for this season (even though it seems pretty severe) with the same arguments listed in my posts above (+ possible hard price increase), but why is there such a drop in attendance in the last match of the last season, I cannot explain. Let's see what happens at the next home game and then see what can be done. Very weird indeed. Did you change your prices and how much?

Hi again!

No, I didn't change prices. I set up the prices before the beginning the 37 season.

Hi Marin, I just noticed that two teams have me listed as their "rival", (23761) and (31285), could this be related?

Now, after the last home match, I reached 66% attendance, more or less the same when I had the first abnormal drop when the problem arose in last season.

By now and for the attendance, I've won one match at home, lost another out, and won the cup at home too. Saturday I won at home again.

As I said, never changed the prices in the whole season. Hope you can find out what could happened.
Hope too the results improve before my economy weakens, because if I start to loose from this level, I won't to imagine....

Regards!

Hi again!

No, I didn't change prices. I set up the prices before the beginning the 37 season.

It seems like the attendance has now stabilised. Only the first match of the season seems a bit low, but not excessively so any more, comparing to the prices after the initial drop. I'll have to investigate this a bit further to find out which is the correct level, before the drop or after. If I determine the former, we might need to recalculate attendance again.

EDIT: Looks like there is no mistake here, only some weird behaviour of the fan survey code (especially in that second to last match of last season). Comparing to your leaguemates, you are now exactly where you need to be, looking at your income. There is one team that is earning substantially more and that is a team which won his league and was promoted directly last season, just like you did the season before that. So, it seems that the boost we give to promotees from DIV to DIII in the offseason is too great, and then, when the boost is no longer felt, the drop seems devastating. Maybe this was done intentionally to help promotees stay up, maybe not, but I hesitate to change it now. I still cannot explain that last home match of last season though.

It's possible that two teams have you as a rival, that's not a mistake. However, you can have only one and that's the one we're counting.

While I lost versus my rival and lost my last game, I made +88k this evening compared to first attendance...

Yes, that does seem too big of a difference. Let's look at a couple more matches and then, if needed, we will recalculate the attendance for the first match (both for you and others).
