Didn't get the win. Didn't expect to.

Did hold you to a season low in league play. I'll take that. Still figuring out things on offense. We know we're the gang that can't shoot straight. We own that. I can live with the offense we had in the first two quarters if our defense shows up, and it did.

That 3rd quarter was even worse than it looks (I watched it live). So it seems I still have to figure out our 3rd quarter woes.

And yes, I know you weren't really trying. Can't wait for a rematch.

That's some impressive shot blocking you got there. Congratulations on the win. Won't happen again if we see you in the finals.


I think I only have 2 or 3 decent offensive players. I’ve just built through my defense as well. And yeah I put a lot of value on shot blocking on my roster. Had been playing just man for most of this season but my defense is built to play 3-2. Was fun to pull it out for a couple of these games to see what it looks like. So you did get my best defensive effort, plus I was at home.. Good game but you are gonna have to figure out how to break 50 points at least before you think about winning the finals.

We'll figure out how to crack 50 in short order. It was the defense I was happy to see, specifically because one of my better defenders got a DNP-CD (Walt Pasman). At worst, Pasman is my 3rd best defender.

We'll find out if it was worth it after the training update Friday morning.

Not sure if I ever went 1-3-1 before in a game that I wasn't trying to steal a win with gimmicky tactics. I may have to rethink my usage of that defense. It's definitely improved from "Nope, bot ever, screw that!"

Fully expected to be facing relegation when I was looking at the rest of the league before the season began. There’s still time for that I suppose haha. Good luck the rest of the season y’all.

I definitely know how you feel. Tanking seasons can make it difficult to find the motivation to keep going. Look on the bright side though, at least the draft should be more favorable to you!

Just when we thought we had the defense headed in the right direction...

we give up a 61.5% shooting percentage and miraculously only lost by 4.

First games after the all-star break can be a little crazy at times. I wouldn’t worry too much about it in all honesty. Especially against a high powered offense like Glory.

I appreciate what you're saying here, but I've played D2 and higher teams without giving up a shooting percentage that high. If that number started with a 5, it wouldn't bother me. A 6 is a different story when defense is our primary weapon because we KNOW we are the gang that can't shoot straight.

If I've ever given up a percentage that high, I honestly cannot recall.

This greatly bothers me.
