I suppose you could check out some older IV.10 games. Starting with this one, on the road, tie

yeah I don't think that's what he was really asking and that game went into overtime so it isn't really a valid demonstration on how strong those teams are.

No it wasn't, but I'll take the blame. It appears I have revived the wrong thread. Nothing to see here...

IV.18 is arguably the toughest D4 league, no offense to IV.10 but you lost a lot of your strong teams.

Also IV.29 is dumb at tactics. Only 4 managers know what "take it easy" is and 2 managers know what "crunch time" is. Thats how sleepy1 pulled off the upset vs. Grande

Also, I counted a few days ago and there are less then 28 teams remaining undefeated. One of them with already 700+ PD

Having just escaped after several seasons in IV.18, I can attest to that. I'd say 5 or 6 teams there are capable of competing at the next level already. The pipeline out is slower than the development of the teams, of course, so some excellent owners are stuck in there.

and there are like 10 managers in there who KNOW what "take it easy" is

people who don't know take it easy, plz read the guide. you'll make yourself a better D4 team knowing what "take it easy" is.

and probably promote as well, just saying

IV.32 would wipe the floor with IV.18. I still think we are the toughest league IV even though we've lost some quality players to promotion the past few seasons that haven't always been replaced.

Duluth, Charlies, myself, and Slatington could for certain avoid relegation in most any DIII as currently constructed. Sonics, Wildens, Vicious Layups, and BallhoggersFTW (who just got kicked out of the game) are strong DIV teams.

not hating on my league but, the only teams who can manage D3 competition are the ones who know what take it easy is--BPI, dougs fir, officials, me

all in pretty high rankings. the league ain't that good tactics wise, but in terms of talent i just think IV.29 is top 5 leagues in that......top to bottom you see teams with talent in the league, just you don't hear about em since they suck at Taking it easy and gameshape management

Yeah, you do have 5 teams in the top 300 in CR. That is some excellent competition at the top. IV.18 goes a little deeper, but the strength at the top definitely is better in IV.32.
