Add that these calculations are with a level 5 coach and doesn't include previous sublevels trainned.

Also, keep in mind that crosstrainning made this a bit slower but, at the same time, adds the random fact of another skill popping on your favor.

But I guess that was what he wanted ;)

I think he will be popping regularly every 2 weeks, one of those weeks you could see even consecutive pops. That HA though is a killer. Have you considered training HA 1-position for two-three weeks? This training is super fast, especially for your trainee with his height and age, and will speed up OD and especially JR passing - not to mention good HA is a must for good shooters.

If you will continue with training outside abilities (PA, OD), I'd consider 1-pos HA for few weeks so I don't slow down OD and PA trainings.

Popping regularly in JS you mean right? Cuz I'm training JR (Outside Shooting) Well my training plan is two weeks of JR followed by one week of OD for the rest of the season and Passing and Handling next season. I consulted a PG/SG expert from my country and he told me to do this as JR and OD are a pain to train and so should be done ASAP before the player turns 19.

Thanks

Sorry, I misread your question. JS will pop every 3-4 weeks of JR training. First pop may happen sooner if he has high sublevel of JS.

I consulted a PG/SG expert from my country and he told me to do this as JR and OD are a pain to train and so should be done ASAP before the player turns 19.

I'm training PGs and SGs for 5 seasons now, I have one also in U21 NT, so I'm considering myself a bit knowledgeable in this area too. 19y old trains almost as fast as 18y old, there really isn't much difference. My recommendation for your first season of training is to do 1 on 1 for PG/SG and OD. And nothing else. When he turns 19, you can continue with JR.

The advice you've been given by this expert is general and he should consider your player's skills first. I don't know if he's seen your player's skills yet, but training OD with HA so low will make OD slower by each pop.

Oh and BTW, I don't agree OD is a pain to train. Only JR is.
