I have found that the ones we are scared of the most we are usually the hardest on...................that is why I am a Kobe hater. lol For Illusions it is Rondo!

not any mroe ray allen 0-12 wow what happened. I liked that play where fisher was left for the layup and then he got gang raped but no flagerant called, if that was rondo and we attacked him i swear they would have called it

Obregon (my pg) would be the leader in assists per game but hes 1 game behind in the minimum to be allowed on there

Refs are really sucking the life out of this series. If I wasn't a fan of the Celtics or Lakers I don't know how I'd be able to watch it. It's not biased either way it's just really, really freaking bad. In the last two minutes they had to overturn three calls that they got wrong, except one of them was actually a foul on Rondo but they can't call a foul on replay.

Way too many off the ball fouls being called. Guys just jockeying for position - the shit that happens on every play down the court and they're getting guys in foul trouble for it. I want to say they're calling it too tight but that's not exactly true. They're letting certain things go but inexplicably calling other stuff tight like that off-ball stuff. I don't know if they're afraid of a brawl starting or what. You can't call handchecks on one possession then let hacks go uncalled on the next. It's leaving a bad taste in my mouth because the product should be allowed to shine and it's not. I'm not saying don't call any fouls on the star players, but there's no reason to get them in foul trouble every game over ticky-tack nonsense. I think the NBA has a real problem - it's not gambling or corruption or commissioner manipulation. The problem is that the refs just aren't good enough. Anyone will tell you that tonight's crew featured some of the league's worst officials but somehow they're put together for an NBA Finals game? The league needs some new talent in the officiating ranks.

As for the game and series itself, I think it's going 7 games. I don't know who will win but I expect every game from here on out to be a fight to the finish. Ray had one of the worst games in Finals history and the C's were still right there until the last minute. If he just hits a couple threes they probably win. It will be great to see a seven game series between these two teams but at the same time agonizing and frustrating because the refs aren't allowing either side to maintain any kind of rhythm.

I feel you the refs are really taking away from the game and thats not right. The worst is when they call the little ticky tack fouls to make up for bad calls on the other end. They really do need to get some new refs in there that know what they are doing. I truly do not know how they had to review the one off garnett and then the one off odom, both of those calls were so obvious(then the one off odom that rondo fouled on was just embarrassing make the call and thats it you cant review that because they ended up making the correct call for the wrong reason). When you have refs at every angle to make calls you have no excuse for getting it wrong what else are they looking at.

Post season will start next Tuesday and thing are getting interesting.

Trafficers have been the first demotee by losing Flyers, 99-68. Good luck to them next season. Flyers clinched 2nd seed.

Only question to be answered in Big 8 is who will finish 3rd. Tachenko has the edge after they beat Cleveland, 112-101.

After putting some players on TL, Magic managed to beat Dutchmen, 65-86. These guys on TL should step up and win games to grab a new contract and find a new home.

Hawks 25- Pistons 0

Big 8 might still be strong but things are much more fun and complicated on the other division. Goats duo Capps and Cantrell were sharp offensively and help their team for a crucial win at Bangers, 106-118. Their playoff hopes are well alive. Bangers benched most of their starters.

Illusion beat Armageddons, hold on to the 1st place, 83-106. Despite the loss Armaggedons clinched 6th place and they will be here with us at least for another season, unless Pistons decides to set a line up for RL games which is highly unlikely.

A loss against Broncos would be a kiss goodbye to playoffs for Investors, but they made no mistake, 105-76. They have the edge for 4th place but PD can be a headache.

Gavno is now playing the chaser role for top seed and 116-100 against Steppers was a nice win for them.

Unlike previous weeks there weren't so many dominant performances yesterday and the player of the day is Clinton Cantrell of Chicago Goats with 24-7-7.

Games to watch on Saturday are....., ummm.... well, all the games on Great 8.

I have been involved in high school officiating for nearly 15 years. some years I had officiated up to 75 games in a season both in public high school and small college intramurals. I can tell you I have officiated both with two man crews and 3 man crews. 3 man crews is a thing of beauty if it is applied properly. We are always told officials should never be the "outcome" of a game but merely help manage the game.

In the NBA many officials are there and they want noticed--they want to make the controversial call whether bad or good they want to make the call against Kobe they want to overlook the call against Kobe because of what he said to them 2 games ago etc. I believe one problem and you may or may not agree is you have two FEW officials and they ref for too long and ref the same teams. They get to know the coaches and players on a personal level, they know their families etc. etc. There is no way to be unbiased when that happens. You see them talking to them carrying on with them taking their cuss rants against them and giving it back, it is ridicoulous. You are not there to be buddies with them you are there to help manage the game. In normal athletic competition 2 people talk to you on the court about a questionable call the captain and the coach....period. Anybody else and it can be a T.

In the NBA's desire to put on a "show" they have taken the officials out of their normal duties and this problem goes straight to the top. Calls will always be blown it can't be helped but NBA officals would not make it in the high school level. They don't make calls. They don't call traveling 80% of the time, they are inconsistent at best in foul calls they call out of their primaries (ref lingo) often. Their mechanics (the way they make calls) is something for the Hollywood movies. Ridiculous you won't find it in a ref handbbook for mechanics anywhere. I surprised Joey Crawford didn't add backflips to some of his ridiculous antics when he used to ref all the time.

If you have ever officiated and paid your dues to be a certified official on the high school or college level. The NBA is just embarrassing. They make upwards of 10-20k for playoff games not counting travel, thier amenities, personal computer, food etc. and the product you get is what you all have seen. Two officials last night had nearly 50 games between them of finals experience. ONe it was his first game. The rookie was probably better then both the old times. They are in it to long.

The refs can absolutely change the game if they do not do their jobs properly. Sad but true.

wow. it's cool to see Cantrell be the first Goat to earn the POTD Award but it feels like such an empty honor, lol.

Unless PCI decides to pull a Pistons-like move against Armageddons, my last three games will have been for nothing.
