Malice had good success with Wales, but maybe he likes/feels committed to that post, which is understandable.

Haven't coached the Welsh team for a few seasons now... I simply lack the time to be able to commit to an NT/U21 job the way I would like to.

Way too much here to respond to it all but 1 thing I am certain Wolph is not trying to sabotage the team, he wants what is best for it. Hopefully there will be more agreement from now on.

If I ever became the NT coach I would have the following starting lineup:

PG Kawagichi/Shin
SG Kawaida/Umari
SF Knone/Kinjo
PF Sonada/Ichiro
C Kawagichi/Ichiro

I would be making $200k a week merchandise & we wouldn't win a thing. Maybe it wouldn't be the best idea.

Quick report.
So we lost Repechages with 1-2 win-lose record.
Final results show that Canada was main rival to win group and therefore match vs Canada was key. And therefore CT in this match was only proper decision, which could give us chance to play in WC.
We needed result better by 23 points vs Canada (scored by Japan and/or not scored by Canada in this match) to gain promotion to WC. So little and so much.
Our win vs Nigeria was scarcely 6th win in history of Japan NT in intercontinental phase. Our last win in championship competition vs opponent from other continent was long time ago, in season 10 (28th September 2009) - (7279).
Actually we are on 36th place in NT ranking:
http://www.buzzerbeater.com/World/rankings.aspx.
It's the best position since historical positions are saved in BB, i.e. since season 11 (in that season we were once on 35th place). Previous positions in ranking are listed as blue number in NT schedule.
Now we are playing in Consolation Tournament and nothing good should be expected.

Please stop trolling.
I guess you care about WR. I don't.

Ranking is important, currently even more than Consolation Tournament.

Consolation is an intercontinental competition. We are in it every 2nd season ;).

Consolation isn't championship phase, it's tournament for teams, which are kicked out of championships.

I think you will find that that WR drops pretty fast if you start taking losses in the intercontinental (with NO enth. left)....

BS. You don't even know how ranking works.

Trying to make the knockout phase of consolation would be fun/worthwile to me..

In whole history of Consolation Tournament (currenlty we have 10th edition - and as you said Japan was in it every two seasons) Japan NT won only one match in CT play-offs phase. It was in first edition, in season 4, by only one point, when in BB we had 30 countries less and only one language version of BB existed. So if it's so worthwhile why Japan didn't try to win even single match in knockout phase since season 4?

It looks like you still don't understand.
Please stop to sabotage Japan NT and stop to write all these BSs.
