My average is 1.78, but i think at least the one-time-scouted boys should have decent potential.

I would personally be most interested in the distribution that the average. For example, if you scouted 1000 players, how many should you expect to have 3 potential and how many would you expect to have 5?

Not only that, but is there a different distribution for each star rating? It seems that from the 3 or 4 examples I have seen, a 5 star rated player is more likely to have a high potential than a 1 star rated player.

I've been having some similar thoughts . I havn't seen many examples of 5 potential guys that are 3 stars or under.

I have three guys scouted twice with 5-ball rating and their potential is 1-ball, 2-ball and 3-ball...
Maybe I'm just unlucky...

Yeah there might be nothing in my thinking probably a player is given a random star rating then a random potential on top of the star rating.

This is a little hard to believe. The accepted theory of number of players scouted with zero money is around 12-14
total
looks. What was your total number of players scouted? And no money used for scouting? Please verify. Thanks!
