Can we have a look at what YOU are making??

The average tell squat all as it includes all the bot teams which would drag the averages down.

You DO have a great advantage starting in D2. You got to look at YOUR team and not the bot included AVERAGE!

That is fairly decent. You have the potential to make a bit more once your arena expansion is complete.

What I was getting at is the fact that starting in D2 is better than starting in D4.

115k is nice but I can see a lot of ability to make a lot more. Can easily make 250k+ provided your player salaries don't explode.

It is far better than a D4 team where you would make 50k-70k a week.

I know what you meant. Wasn't agreeing or disagreeing with you. Merely sharing my revenues since wolph was reluctant to :)

Its a give and take thing mate.

I'm telling you a lot of us in the smaller countries would give a fair amount to be playing against active players rather than bots.

I'll give you Japan II.1 averages. Then you give me averages in your divisions.

AVERAGE
Attendance 89k
Merch 29k
TV 80K
salaries-
60K
staff 39K
scouting 13K

Average NET income in Japan- 84K

Ok so I have a HUUUGE advantage being in a league that the average teams nets 84K ... NOT

That aint even barely a million a year. And you are saying I have a 2million a season advantage?

Now what are the averages for division II in Australia?, III and IV as well?

When you enter the game you have so few seats you can't make much more than like 150K even if you sell out at max price. Its a must to build seats, in any country. At a certain point you raise prices over building, depending on how far you can promote. I agree with you there is a balance to consider how much building versus personel improvements to promote and have seats for the right league to play in. Obviously this is about who you ahve to beat to promote and what kind of attendance you can get in target league, so varying by country to an extent.

So for me I am just tryign to have a good enough team to promote, and the rest of my money goes to expansion or banked. I also avoiding high salary players to increase banking of funds, just good enough to beat the next best team is my goal.
back on topic though, having some more info/idea on how the draft will work and what I can get out if it definitely plays a role in my future planning and financial management, as it does for everyone I am sure.

hahaha that is dodgy as. Giving league averages that you know are way off what you are making just to try and prove a point that isn't even right lol.
You made OVER 200k in your last home game. And you could be making a lot more if your prices were set better.
And you give us the league average with 89k listed.
Your merchandise might even be higher as well.
But just on arena alone that is more 110k over the league average.
So you are making about 200k profit a week.
14 weeks * 200 = 2.8 million.
Way way way more than a division 4 team could make.
And that is 200k minimum, you could probably make closer to 250k or higher with correct arena prices etc.

I am in a very tough Div IV USA league....my league average for income is $4,100. I personally have an income at $43K a week. So mine is awesome in comparison, and tiny compared to the #'s I am seeing from the smaller countries. Goodness, 200K a week? Do you have any idea how fast I could build up my roster with that kind of income? I have a 6 seat arena project going right now!! I am doing everything I can to drain every dollar out of rocks that i can so I can compete!!

I think I promoted too fast, although promoting is better than not promoting. The league average for payroll salaries in my league is 142K. I am at 88K. Included in that 88K is lowe level defensive minded center, and 2 trainees that never play in league games. So I am competing in league play with 77K worth of salaries. Most of my sellable assets are my core players that I depend on. So if I sold one of them, I'd have to take a chunk of the money I receive, just to replace the guy I sold! And that is before I could even look to improve.

I have two trainees whose value may go much higher in the coming weeks. If I can sell one of them for significant money, than I may be able to add a stud player that will change everything for me.

My problem, and the problem the rest of my league faces are oppositie each other. I have plenty of room to add salary, but no cash to do so. Most of the teams in my league have cash, but no room to add anymore salary. This league has become so competitive that the payrolls have grown and grown, and people are working themselves to barely break even so they can compete.

You are coming second in your conference. How can you say you promoted too fast?

Also a div 2 team in Japan could be making 400k or more if they cut down on expenses and ran a small roster of 6 trainees and tanked to get the best draft pick. Definitely the best tactic as you would make a LOT of money each week and you would get a spectacular draft pick at the end of the season AND you would have been able to train up 6 great trainees over that season.

I think that if I started in div 2 in japan I could make over 7 million in my first season.

I mean in terms of building a solid foundation. There simply isn't enough money to keep building the arena, scout, and add solid players...Heck, there really isn't enough to do even one of those things completely, but certainly not all the 3. I am definitely competing, and very proud of the team I have built. My trainees no longer have weaknesses & are getting better each week, but I feel I am one player away from actually competing for it all in the playoffs. So its frustrating to have such limited money. Hopefully one of my expendable trainees goes up in value like I expect...We'll see.
