If you want to play motion you need good offensive flow (passing), and good jump shooters on every position. A good example is my cup finals, against the 2nd best team in CBBA (someone can argue that is the 3rd, but again very strong league team for Cyprus), using motion my PF killed his PF, with very good %. We got also almost the same rebounding rating. The same happened on our league game: (27349736) and this: (27349616), If you also go on last season the results are similar. So a zone, especially 1-3-1 zone could have huge effect on those games, plus the lack of the OD that most big men have could put them easily on early foul troubles. You can see that with my C who doesnt have OD all, and see how much is fouling against good JS big man.

Also one very good reason that i am using motion offense instead R&G, is exactly that is giving lots of JS on the big men.

So the reason that 1-3-1 works against motion is more about the bad execution from your opponents than the D.

I guess he has really bad OD, but on his 1st year he really killed me: (22678718), but now looks like Sciamenna is 2 much for him to handle :)

Hi,

my rival will play against me FCP and run and gun. Hims players faster tire becouse its very FAST tactis. So, if i set patient and pressing, my players must force on my rival players get tired more quickly. However, if my players will tire (becouse they defence FCP), they will be rested in offensive tactic - patient. Will this works?

Sorry for my english, im polish.

Regards, szybki

While your reasoning sound logical I fear it won't really work like that here in BB. Your best bet is to just defend with 3-2 zone or MTM depending on how good your SF's OD is and whether you can miss that bit of rebounding.

Usually FCP is a defense that doesn't really work. Maybe if the other team has really bad handling/passing players. Whether or not a slow pace helps against TO is still being discussed as far as I know. But I'd base your offense on where you think you are strongest and he's weakest. Which might result in a LI, LP or motion or something (If you can get quite some OR against that FCP it might be nice as well.)

Lol I've always felt that FCP is for top teams to use when they want to make a quick game of extremely inferior teams..

yeah best chanches for triple double games *gg But also good for loosing.
