Hey boys, not very active I know but I won't be giving Matty an easy ride! My only loss so far was due to cup, having said that I don't believe that I am ready to take down Waterhouse, maybe I have a decent purchase left before the end of the season, averaging 120k a week :)) Be ready for a big finals series mate, I will be bringing the Viking's domination :D lol

Don't worry about me, SchaBoom, I'm selling up for the season. I may get the urge to reload come finals but doubt it. Great to see you saying hello by the way and congrats on a nice season so far. I like your team but I still believe Urmummas have the right line-up to defeat anyone providing their players' GS is good.

As for Get Real suddenly coming to life, been waiting for that. Mind you, I personally think the two purchases won't really effect much. The Centre will be handy but with pitiful GS, that $40K Sg has no chance of having any real impact.

Well, my players aren't selling fast enough...may not be able to tank the way it's going! Sold my best SF and my new PG and still put a team on court that beat CARLTON by 27 points. Mind you, that PF of his, Pomper, is outstanding. I'd love to know what his stats are: Prodigious IS, R???
I tried something different and put my $43k C on him to try and stop him; Pomper still managed almost 40pts and 20rebounds!!! I should have stayed with my starting PF, Dotan, who may have been able to do a better job. Ah well, such is life!

How's everyone travelling? Good to see the Prides notch up another win. GC still looking good as is Ozzy and Urmummas.

I agree that my current line up isn't quite there but that isn't hard to fix, got plenty to splash in the coming weeks. Get real's purchases should be enough to prevent relegation at least.

Seriously though, you will need to add something to get past the mammas.

As for Get, as I had predicted, his new SG is useless...that GS is shocking. His C played a nice game though and seems like a good pick up.

He's not bad, Kanga. I can't remember how old he is but there nice stats. My only criticism would be his OD. He would have been a rather dangerous SG with Sensational OD or more. As it is, he's still a very good player and will be very hand once that GS is up. Again, though I can't remember how old he is.

Your centre looked pretty good to.

How's everyone going? With the playoffs getting near, excitement is building and each team should get prepared for the last few weeks of regular season and the playoffs, relegation series.
Seems like most people in this league have shown up in this tread and that's a good sign. It would be great if someone have time to do a end-of season analysis including each team's power and the prediction of the final conference ranking, also the chance for each team to win their rounds in the playoffs. That person would be you Matty (jks jks).

I will briefly state my opinion here as i have got time now in the holidays.

With the Big 8, the top 3 spots is locked, with Urmumma, Roasters and the Cheaters. The 4th Spot here is most likely the Legends, but they still have a game with Hawthorn and that will directly effect the outcome. But no matter who will be in the 4th position the Urmummas is just a team with greater power. With the Roasters and the Cheaters, the game yesterday showed that with the same effort played Cheaters still lost by 12 points despite the HCA, the 4 and 5 seems too weak at the moment. However the Cheaters still have a chance to win if they try CTE in the game against Roasters, although that will result a straight lost with the Urmummas and that only achieved vanity. Same apply to the Roasters, I doubt they will give the best against the Cheaters. Would be a great game if Urmummas meet the Roasters in the conference finals. If that's the case, I will pick Urmummas because of their HCA and likely a higher enthusiasm. With the 6th, 7th and 8th spot, the Wigs has to get at least two wins before the regular season ends to prevent relegation as a bottom team, they already played Miami and Legends, if the game against the Prides is one of the game they try to win, Hawthorn is the other team where they should try their best. The Miami should stay at 8 wins for the remainder of the season. If the Prides win another game before they meet the Wigs it should be fine for them to prevent 8th.

This would be it for now and if people can join this discussion and state their own will and opinion it would be great.

It's just a brief analysis if the reaction is fine I will write more.

...as for a write up on our side I would be happy to do that; however, as a school teacher I finish this term this Friday and then start a two week break. Therefore, I would look at doing the write-up this Saturday/Sunday most likely post-Saturdays' games.

Oh, Matty I WILL be promoting this season, UR Mummas is a fantastic team and his PG is unreal, but I think once I have made my move my team overall will be better all round.. Just got to find the right buy :D
