Thanks to both of you. I obviously have an issue with this 7' beast with low potential trying to make him an ABBL standard player, so the only way I can figure that I can do it is by being really careful with how I spend his potential.

I am thinking something like this:

Four pops in each of JS, HA and DR from one on one. This season and next pushing the OD and PA getting three pops each. Pushing the IS and ID to wondrous, probably get a SB pop over that time. Put REB up to tremendous gets him to the bottom of perennial allstar potential.

Sakib Ahmed (24058190) Center
Weekly salary: $ 72 638
Age: 24
Height: 7'0" / 213 cm
Potential: perennial allstar
Game Shape: respectable
Jump Shot: mediocre Jump Range: atrocious
Outside Def.: prominent Handling: strong
Driving: prolific Passing: prominent
Inside Shot: wondrous Inside Def.: wondrous
Rebounding: tremendous Shot Blocking: strong
Stamina: awful Free Throw: average Experience: atrocious

I think a player like that would be a fine starter in Division II and a great backup in the ABBL. With Lawrance as well that would mean that none of my starters had less than prominent OD and maybe only one starter with less than prominent ID, which would be quite a thing.

why not sell him and go buy a 33 year old center... you will make it back to the abbl faster that way =P

Wouldn't it be better to keep him, and buy a 33 year old center and make it back to the ABBL next season? I don't think selling him can get me back there faster than next season.

Naker wont even look at them unless they have been retired for at least 3 seasons.

all of his fan are the same age as his players thus have Alzheimer's!!

Old ain't that bad... active NBA players right now who are old can still beat a lot of teams..

PG Nash 38 / Kidd 39
SG Ray Allen 36 / Stackhouse 37
SF Grant Hill 39 / Anthony Parker 36
PF Kurt Thomas 39 / Juwan Howard 39
C Camby 38 / Ben Wallace 37

bench
G Fisher 37
F/C Dampier 36
G Anthony Carter 36

not a bad team for a bunch 35+ yeah olds... will definitely be competitive in the ABBL fosho!!!

I reckon they should have certain skills that don't decline, like JS and JR. Lots of players get better at shooting as they get older, so in a sense, BB should allow training of certain skills past a certain age.

Yes it is stiil that stamina is one of two things you can still train no problem at age 50.
