We need PL testing for testing to work though...scrimmages are HORRIBLE for testing...we only use scrubs and trainees out of position...body can set scrimmage lineup for testing specifically...its GS and training day.

Clearly the reason for this was so that people would go back to aiming for fifth place instead of fourth, so they'd have an extra scrimmage instead of a pointless playoff game. ;)

I have a question.. Would it possible to put very good small foward with good js and rebounding skilling and defensive skills at pf . would that count as a Multi skilled outside big?

I dont think 2-3 zone is good enough to stop Look inside. Because it has to shift when the ball is passed if a good guard drive he gets easy assist because he pull the defenders to him then pass the ball..2-3 turn to man - man in the post the majority of the time and bug man get gurad 3pt shot is he good psaain

I think 3-2 is the better defense. Because it can be set a different way in action with skills of the player 3 at top 2 at the bottom

X x
X or XXX
XX XX BOth sets are 3-2 what I showed in 1st one looks like man to man because the sf shift behind the guards to trap the backside passing and in side passing from penetration. Each direction the guard go he has to 3 defenders to beat.. the big man will have to have jumper if want to score. Because he will be defended

Look inside the PF/ center /sf maybe even has to get position to post which will hard to do. even if the guard try to drive they are trapped. theres no passing lane unless the team has very very good vertern experience players.

I have been watching games and I saw a few thing.. I wont spill the beans to much but defensive is the key to stop look side.. Only problem I find with 3-2 defense is it hurt game shape and stamina. lol

This is becoming like LI 101 class LOL

You don't need much IS on your bigs in the current GE for LI to work.

no kidding!

IS is only the most important skill on an inside big, but other than that is not that important lol

im not sure why your struggling to grasp this and being somewhat of a dick about it. LI guards are the same as outside bigs. 10 IS on a LI guard is nice, but its not necessary if you dont have the resources to buy one or ability to train one. a base level LI gaurd only needs to have OD and PA. everything else is up to you in regard to how much offskill training you can bear or cash to pay premium for it.

i have a very effective guard on my team that only has 6 IS, 5ID. he doesnt start at the DI level, but his salary is low and does the job.

All the WC and B3 LI teams that have been dominate did so with IS on the Gs. This is a given.

Not every team is playing for the B3 and can afford 2m+ guards with amazing OD/PA/DR/IS/etc. Stop being dunce.

If you keep saying things that are untrue/demonstrate a complete lack of understanding of how the LI teams of this era have been built...then people will become very confused.

You're right, im a complete beginner and have yet to prove that i grasp the basics of the game. yikes

Clearly! You've never even won a title in IV.

Please delete curse words from your post. I am not trying to get folks in trouble...@GMs I'm not offended so don't punish no one....

I refuse to pull "dick" out of the post, i inserted it there as it fit so well. i like you wolph, but you were patronizing me in the prior posts.

anyway...

You keep saying that high IS is necessary for LI bigs, but in my experience is it is not.

i didnt say necessary. you can have low IS and suck, thats your call. i agree that other skills are important, you wont find a big on my team with low JS, PA, DR. Doesnt change the fact that IS is the meat and potatoes at PF/C for LI teams. Top 5 true shooting % bigs in the NBBA have 17-19 IS. JS? middling to decent, no more than 9.

So, back to the original point, outside bigs only need a base of ID, Reb (at a standout level for the league) to be effective. Low IS just means more salary to use for other skills. Obviously, more gaurd skills is good, but you get what you can afford to build/buy. Oh right, you can't buy these players on the TL as they dont exist outside of a few rarities from time to time. So instead SB will be boosted in an attempt to offset the lack of players that *could* be built and used effectively. Seems like a bad idea.
