Surprise? If I won with the lineup I put out, now THAT would have been a surprise

No disrespect to JW but I was expecting it to be a close game and was a little surprised that you didnt put on the court a stronger line up

Haha none taken, a bit surprised myself... Was looking forward to a close game myself and seeing the young future Aus NT big man (michael something...) wouldve been all over my big men.
llama setting his guys up for their cup game against monkey?
Lucky I got an easy cup game otherwise playing my starters would've been wasteful.

Yeah, gotta give the cup game a crack. I don't really have the depth to win three tough games in a week, and playing probably the two top teams in the conference, plus an ABBL team in the cup, was a bridge too far for me...

I had to sell Quinton because of the Over extension tax, but it has left me a player short in my rotations, to be able to have half decent depth for all 3 games in a week.

Market is just too hot at the moment to be buying the type of player that I need to fix the puzzle

Phew. Always nice to beat an ABBL team, even if it is one going bot. My tank against JW paid off!

Yep. I bet it was a relief after giving JW the win during the week.

Fingers crossed I get an easy cup game next week and you draw another ABBL team. ;)

Thats nice of you to wish Mllama a horror draw, but I guess the more ABBL teams he knocks out, the better chance the rest of us have

I did add a ;)

Does that make it ok?

Edit - we both drew Div 3 teams, JW and porirua got tough ones, The Ants got lucky with a BOT

The fact that it was said in fun is great.

However its more fun if you really really mean it. (nothing wrong with a bit of sledging and mind games)

Tough week for my mob, on Saturday I play Red *Season20 who have 2 x 150K players and then on the Tuesday I play the Sydney Sea Eagles on their home court who have lots of depth, and of course a Cup game on the Thursday which you can never take for granted.

Ideally I need another player in the roster, but the market is way too high unless your buying 200K a week plus players

Some interesting results tonight.

Whilst I was pleased with my teams win over RED *Season20, I couldnt help but notice how impressive a few other teams were.

Great effort by Mllama away from home to beat Tilley Thunder and also do it whilst playing the Duke at PG for 48 minutes.

JW City Bulls smashed Docs Patients and have a clear points difference lead over the unbeaten team from the other conference.

GC Vikings won at home against the Sydney Sea Eagles who were not disgraced.

Former ABBL team, CROCKERS away from home beat Vis Major and continue their progression up the ladder.

Other results were;

West Adelaide Bloods had a massive win over the Sand Hill Ants

Doncaster Flames also had a big win over our Kiwi themed team Porirua.

Unbeatabulls had a nice win over Munti Gunung Magic

Looks like you played Red just in time.
