Mokitimi is a very good player and I would have insulted me if that would have been relevant. However, he is NOT the best guard we have, our team is...a bit special as I already told.

After the final I will drop my usual note about the season, Chronicle of a Medal. Metal will be silver, but.... Who knows.... May be Misr coach will forget to set the roster!!!

The sad part is that final is Monday evening.....clashing with a VERY formal dinner I cannot miss.... Follow the guys on my behalf!

A medal? Why "a medal"? Bronze is aged, silver does not match with my dining room. Only GOLD! Yep, the firs,t GOLDEN medal ever in the history of such a little country.

A good combination of tactics, strategy, luck, errors, the craziest roster ever and few managers who decided to make it possible.

We did it, may be unrepeatable, but it's here!

I planned a match against Misr since the beginning, as I had only one chance to surprise them and hope that they actually would have been surprised enough. Evaluation is pushed by OT, although I wanted to play the game on a big bet (predictions + zone, all-in), on rebounds and on quality of shots. Misr were superior , especially under boards, but Sebe and the others did exactly what I wanted

It's late and it have been a long day, and another will come. I haven't checked even my own team and only looked at SA. Surprise! Really? YES!!!

Now time to go to sleep....and dream! Next days I will replay my season explaining you what happened behind the courtain: you will discover the bare truth of this GOLDEN MEDAL. So far, let's just enjoy.
