has anyone tried training OD at SF or any of the other stay in position training?

I wouldn't bother training a player at 80%. Maybe if I had to play him in position to make the difference in a championship game, but the penalty on training speed is just too much. Even then, I'd prefer to miss a week or two and go with 1 on 1 or JS. I'm training SF's in my first team so I know how tempting it is.

Yeah its the same principle as multi position training being a negative. You want your 2-3 main trainees getting the maximum amount possible. Anything that prevents that will never be productive.

I haven't yet, but they aren't really considered multi position since you're still training them at the fastest rate possible.

Tory Baynham (35491742)
Center
Age: 19
Height: 6'6" / 198 cm
Potential: MVP

Jump Shot: mediocre Jump Range: mediocre
Outside Def.: proficient ↑ Handling: respectable
Driving: average Passing: awful
Inside Shot: strong Inside Def: proficient
Rebounding: respectable Shot Blocking: respectable

This guy started with 7 OD, IS and ID, but had to spend to best part of last season training 1 on 1 (started with 1 driving). My plan from here is to hammer him with OD and IS which will still train his ID until the end of the season. Next season will depend if he's going to make the u/21s, but my choice would be passing and rebounding.

I have decided that JS is the skill he is going to always be playing catch up with (started on 2), but if I get his other skills up early, I can play him in position for a long time and let it build up, as opposed to playing him out of position later on. JS is one of the more expensive skills, so it will make him more salary efficient as well. He probably won't be the best SF ever seen (he only started with 47 tsp), but with a bit of luck with injuries, he will be good enough for me to build a quality team around in 7 or 8 seasons.

I'm guessing that it's just a huge bump from being a starter on the team with the best record. Things seem off this season. In my other league, the opposing team is made up of only players from the top two teams in that conference. All 10 spots from 2 teams? Sure, they're far better than the other teams, but it seems unbalanced.

Does anyone know when the draft prospects are due? My regular team was on schedule a few days ago, but still nothing in utopia?
