Update on U19 Players

Nireview ko na ang mga U19 players at nagmessage na ako sa mga trainees. Sadly, ang ilan sa top trainees natin ay hindi natrain. Dapat namessage ko sila ng mas maaga, pero limited lang ang aking resources. Sa tingin ko magiging mas madali na siya sa susunod na season dahil ang bagong draftees na lang ang kailangan ko imessage. As usual ang weakness ng 19 year olds natin ay jump range, passing at shot blocking. Hopefully maconvince ko ang iba na magtrain. Para sa 18 year olds medyo balanced pa naman ang skills. Hindi ako magpopost ng top players dahil medyo malapit pa ang skill level nila.

Hello! Check mo ito para sa possible U21 candidates (138525.735). Sa ngayon ang needs ng U20 ay rebounding at shot blocking. Ang needs ng U19 naman ay jump range, passing, at shot blocking. Si Coach Ivan ang makakapagbigay ng needs ng NT. Salamat sa interest mo sa U21 at NT.

Hi guys, I have decided to open up a Philippine Center for Basketball excellence. Too busy na ako sa real life so puro training for U21 and NT lang gagawin ko. May 6 M ako without sale of existing assets so bibili ako nang exceptional or world class trainer. Bibili din ako nang magaling na rookies. I will try to maintain league II status to make sure Ican maintain acceptable salaries. I also plan to sell on all U21 or NT products for steady supply for everyone else.Sorry I wasted Libre after saving him for NT, but he will be key for this long term program. Let me know if you guys have any suggestions on how we can execute this. Looking forward to our nations guidance:) Tried to change my name to, next year na.

Quarter 1: Ace Julio Madrigal (38155771) sets the tone with 8 points. Pilipinas U21 uses a 17-9 rebounding advantage to take a 27-19 lead.

Quarter 2: Pilipinas U21 shares the ball to inch forward while Indian center Kumar tries to bring back his team to the game with 16 points and 8 rebounds. Score: 46-34

Quarter 3: Pilipinas U21 showered their opponents with three point shots, take a convincing 74-48 lead.

This is another player I like to share, superstar lang and potential (28406213). Sobrang maximize ang skills niya. The forums were built to exchange ideas between managers. These are the kind of players na hindi natin nakikita dati from potential/cap perspective. We have to open our minds that these players exist and can be built. Ang similiraties na nakikita ko mababa ang JR ang susi. Of course ideal pa rin ang HOF at ATG para sa akin para hindi ka kinakabahan mag cap agad.

Pilipinas U21 Picks Up Their Second Win 101-69 Against India (38992)

Ace Julio Madrigal scores 18 points and added 8 boards while Utek Gutierrez added 12 points. In addition, Gutierrez played stellar defense with 3 blocks and drew an offensive foul. Victor Carreon added 13 points, 16 rebounds and 3 blocks off the bench to ease the loss of starter Carl Elbert Durano to foul trouble.

A few minutes into the game, Madrigal hit a three to set the tone. However, things got testy as Durano commits a flagrant foul against Indian SG Sandogapan. The teams exhanged flagrants with India's SF Ramesh getting one late in the first while Gutierrez was called for another in the second quarter, injuring backup Gupta. What made the difference in the first is the 17-9 advantage Pilipinas had in rebounds as they took a 27-19 lead. During the second quarter, Pilipinas was unable to get a convincing lead as they outscored their opponents only by 4. However, a few minutes into the third, Madrigal silenced any doubts on the outcome of the game as he hit two three's as part of a 10-0 run. Third quarters also proved to be Gutierrez's favorite as he got hot in this period again scoring 12. The quarter ended 74-48 and garbage time soon followed.

Next week we have agreed on a scrimmage with Taiwan U21 which will prove to be a big test for the team. Follow this thread to know the schedule when it is finalized.

Bukod sa jump range, passing at rebounding ang mababa sa high tsp players. Maganda na mataas ang tsp, pero sana hindi mapabayaan ang jump range ng lahat para magamit natin ang outside offense.

Edit: para sa may mababang potential, ang magandang build usually ay defensive.

Kung guard, OD, HD, DR, IS ang focus. Sa forward, OD, ID, SB, PS. Kapag big man naman, ID, RB, SB, JR. Sample lang ito pwede niyo gumawa ng kaunting changes. Hindi lang ako sure kung magcacap na ang look inside guards nang maaga sa bagong changes.

Congrats, sa 2nd rd na ako susubaybay sa u21 games natin, China lang tayo mahihirapan (what's new) pero ok na rin nakabracket natin sila sa 1st round sana mag xover sa second round para later na nila tayo makaharap. How do you see our team compared to other Asian teams? I have China seeded first and maybe we are second or third. Mas may idea ka being coach/manager so maganda rin pakingan ang opinyon mo (hehe).
