First of all, I said his shot blocking stinks.
Secondly, if you watch Raps games, you know that his defence is not that good.
Thirdly, his boxing out skills aren't superb, so strong rebounding is pretty generous. He still gets double-double because he plays PF and he gets a lot of minutes.
Lastly, if you look at how he gets at 20-10, it's mostly jump shots. I mean, if you take that many shots (last couple games, he shot a very low FG%), you are bound to score that much.

Anyways, forget about my rant. I know many people still think very highly of his skills.

boxing out is how you are suppose to get rebounds but nobody in the NBA boxes out. Inside shot affects almost all shots that are close even if it is a 10-15 ft jumper.

Probably more like proficient-sensational on the free throws. 84% is good but still nothing special. The unlisted marketing hype stat value of legendary inflates some of his skills by at least a decent amount too.

Umm if the Buzzerbeaters were willing could they run a game simulation with an all-legendary player?

I'm slighty drooling at the game rating he would acheive... :)

I would go higher on his inside D personally. Teams still go inside vs Yao, but they do it differently. They have plays worked out just to deal with Yao. He isnt the bruising body man of Shaq in his heyday, but he is a bigger inside prescense on D than proficient, imo.

If this is the case then BB can boast 100's or even 1000's of players better than Yao already!!! Hey I've got 4 guys that would make my line up ahead of him!!!

I think people are severely underrating NBA players

Yao Ming is one of the best centers in the NBA, he is certainly top 5 in the world at his position (Arguably the best). Look at the top Centers in BuzzeBeaters, they are miles ahead of Prominent and Proficients. Yao should be rated similarly to the top centers in BuzzerBeater, Kobe should basically better or equal to the best SG in BuzzerBeater.

Infact in many cases they should be rated higher as Yao and Kobe etc... are at their peak, the best players in BuzzerBeater are like 22 still and haven't reached their peak yet
