but i have no way to really tell my coach this...not that i know of at least...and so the hours my players are getting is out of my control...which when a game takes stuff out of your control (things that should be managable by you...it is a manager game after all)

there are ways: you can choose between 4 diffrent aproaches for your coach (strictly follow chart, let coach decide,...)

as for your starter playing too many minutes: try this: put your back up as starter, then tell your coach to decide , see what happens...

Yes another request...can someone who knows please state the ideal numbers of minutes per week to maximise game shape. I have heard several figures ranging from 48-80 at the most broard to 60-65 as the tightest. Does anyone know for certain? I am fairly confident the NT people do.

You can't really get any more exact than that because there is a random factor involved as well. I have one player with 54 minutes and proficient GS and another with 66 minutes and proficient GS. Two players who played the same exact number of minutes could also see differences in their GS due to this random factor.

betends on the player sometimes you end up, that the player nearly play the whole game ;)
