That high quality players as you say are so cheap probably has something to do with that there are to many of them in comparison to how many teams there are that actually can hold such players. I think a change in the draft could fix that. make star and allstar players more common and the end of the potential ladder a lot more rare.

Yeah true. Either that or ease up on reintroducing players through free agency.

Another thing that would help: don't set back the fan survey after a season. Let fans, that had to see their team lose 22 games in a row with -50, still be very angry in the new season.

Second Team:
BC.Play-Off
In Bosnia 1A

TV rights : $ 228 179
Minimal paying salaries : $ 273 814

Average salaries in league $ 579 327 ( with tanking teams , curently 2 teams with salary 10-100k )
So the only thing that can be done is to multiple by 2 minimal paying salaries
Then we should have fair competitions , and still enable tanking as a fair tactics witihout changing fan survey . They will still be able to make great profit , but no so big like current one so teams would still be encouranged to be competitive.

Seriously guys.

If you think training is not profitable, do not train (let everyone else do the training for you). Train GS/FT/ST the whole season.

If you think drafting is not profitable, do not invest into draft (buy draftees off TL). Save that money for salaries, new additions.

If you think tanking is the strongest strategy right now, tank. I should warn you, that no team has come back stronger after tanking than he has been before. We are talking about great managers who have tried. Relegation is a killer, out of the 4 relegated teams in Estonia divI (2 tankers, 1 quit, 1 normal), 1 is dropping down to divIII, 1 went bot, 2 tried to promote - both failed (the biggest tanker announced his retirement because of his failure in the forums). So grow some balls and actually try it, instead of talking about it.

This is a tactical game, use your brains and stop whining. Wheather they change the salary floor or not, you should be able to make the best decisions for your own team.

I did try it. Admittedly I wasn't in the top division but I came back much much stronger from tanking. The key is how you spend your time while tanking. I picked up a trainee for cheap and used the freedom I had from not needing to win games and trained him inside and outside. He sold for over 1mill, that along with the money saved and money made from player sales allowed me to crush the division below me while staying relatively even in finances. Now I am on top of D3, I did lose last season due to injuries, but there is no way I'd be this strong if I hadn't tanked.

Looking at the season you "tanked". From your record, you could of easily have taken 6-th spot and prolly would have won your relegation games. Still making the same money and keeping the divIII income.

But divIII-IV is lowish to base facts on. Good managers are expected to raise to higher levels no matter which tactic they use.

I'm calling BS on that one. I mean, no team ever, how can you know that?

My team as a whole is in better shape now than its ever been, it's not even close. The only reason i dont have a bunch of titles is ive chosen not to buy them. So thats one example, and im sure there are plenty more.

I don't think you're looking at the evidence people are putting out there.
