It is messed up right now because of higher income in the playoffs and much lower salaries due to most teams not paying any this week so it is very misleading. The only useful things I can tell you are:

League Averages from Last Week
Attendance: usually around $500,000
Merchandise: $ 85 472
TV Contract: $ 232 294

The league average income was about $50-100,00 a week but that is a little distorted with Akuma and Windies making $300,000 a week each.

so lets say it was 100k per week profit each week.
(just doing some maths in my head here)

16 teams X 100K = 1600k

1600k - 300k(TAK) - 300k(WIN) = 1000k
1000k over 14 teams = $71k

Or if ave income was $50k per week then.

16 x 50 - 600 over 14 = $14k per week

slim pickings.

You for got to factor in the teams that have over 900k+ in salary for the whole season.
And also the teams that semi tank or tank parts of the season.

Everyone circumstance will be different. So its best just to go with
500k gate receipt
230k TV revenue
70k merchandise (since you plan on losing a lot) 100k in merchandise if you have an all aussie team with an aussie NT.

Some teams in the ABBL were losing 2, 3 or 4 hundred K a week and theoriotically could be over a mill in debt.

First time I promoted out of Div 2, I started the last week over 2 mill in debt.

Commiserations to Dudehowdy, I was totally Blown away by the result tonight, I didnt expect to win like that

Started 2 of my trainees in Williams and Ryder and they both come of age.

Would still be nice to get Ott back asap

Maybe you guys are right, maybe there is some poison in the blood Im spitting

Well played Sid.

Seems the 1-3-1 worked pretty well for you tonight 1-19 threes that is pretty shocking.

To be honest when Ott went down I did think I was a change - guess I was wrong. Nice to see your young boys coming through, they should be fine Aussie players when you finish - although naturally I would have preferred they failed miserably :)

Well played Sid.

Thanks, I guess I had a little bit of an edge in experience in that I knew the 1 3 1 would do okay if you played motion.

Ryder at PF has a good bit of outside D, so essentially I had 4 players trying to stop your 3 ball handlers.

Series is a long way from being over, if my mob was to encounter another injury, make a tactical blunder or experience early foul trouble, you would be right back in it and ofcourse you will be hard to beat on your home court.

Still really want Ott back, and I just may succumb to pressure from Mickytser and train game shape this week so as to help the U21s in their crucial semi finals game

whats ur understanding of whom plays where during the 1-3-1? cause i noticed u played pretty small in ur starting 5. donnelly at C, with ryder and williasm at PF and sf.

my guess is
PG = the 'front' 1
PF = the 'back' 1
SG and SF playing on the wings of the '3'
C playing the middle of the 3

is that how it works in BB?

I dont know for sure but I assumed the centre would have been the back one and the PF being the centre of the 3, wingman on the sides and PG at front.

Donnelly (for a centre) has very good passing and OD, so much so that he's a PF and not a true centre.

initially i thought C at the back, but googling it, according to baskteball strategies, most of the time, the C is in the middle of the '3'

i mean u played small and donnelly is more of a PF, but either way, i think at the back or in themiddle of the 3, the OD isnt going to be tested.
