I gotta tell ya, I think there is a special stat for hustle or something... Leo Woods Really doesnt have THAT good of stats... He is Well-Rounded, like most of my players (one reason I got rid of Inxausti).. but he really isnt Mega-Trained or anything.. what are your thoughts?

It's good to read the opinions of someone with officiating experience to make sure I'm not crazy. I don't like to harp on the refs at all because there are usually dozens of other more prominent reasons a team loses a given game, but it's kind of depressing seeing the game screwed with so badly.
I don't know if anyone here has been watching the NHL playoffs...that's a league with bigger problems than the NBA but at least the refs know when to swallow the whistles. The NHL playoffs are more physical than the regular season yet refs understand that they can't call the game tighter because of it. As a result the NHL playoffs are annually one of the must see events of the year for me. I'll always watch the NBA because I'm obsessed with it but I wouldn't blame anyone that decided to stop watching until the league did something to fix the problem.

Unfortunately I don't think you will see the problem get fixed. The NBA is about money nothing else. When we are at a point where coaches are making 12 million a year, the system is broke beyond repair. The only way the NBA will ever get fixed is when the fans get too sick of it to buy tickets. I have long "clamoured" for salary caps and veteran maximums etc for the NBA this would be a first great step.
For the refs--the way you fix it is to get rid of the ones who don't ref. I think it would be hilarious to take 3 top notch high school officials and do an NBA game with the normal basketball rules being applied properly. The networks would love it with all the foul calls and traveling calls, palming the ball etc., they would be able to implement another 30 commercials in a games time. NBA refs have lost sight of the game...period.

Could depend on the system as well. Also, maybe aggression/physicality or tendencies.

I agree. The NBA ref's have changed the game over the past 20 years. Just call the game according to the rules and the palming, travel, and fould issues would go away.
The NHL playoffs are the best. You need to rip someones arm off to get a penalty. At least everyone knows it. Congrats to the Backhawks. Well deserved for Kane, Hossa, and Co.

Goats you are lucky armageddons don't have to worry about taking it easy to be ready for their relegation battle, so they might put a good amount of effort into their game against PCI for you

I don't see myself beating dutchmen on the road. It's 2 out of 3, right?
As for D IV, I suppose if I was armegeddon, I'd be afraid of D IV. The X-steppers, on the other hand, are not. I would like to stay here, however.

I'm not afraid of DIV at all. I'm fairly sure I'd win quite handily in most leagues, however there are teams to watch out for is all I'm saying. At worst you should finish 2nd, but 2nd is a lot worse than 1st.

I'm almost tempted to throw my qualifier and wager a year's worth of supporter on whether or not I can handle the stress of D IV with you. You look pretty silly trying to suggest that my team will have any difficulty with D IV if I keep it in tact the way it is right now.
