Can you show me an example of a team (just 1 is fine) that is making 2-3mil a week.

Good job on your day trading but now yes you have hit a wall for the time being. Still you have accumalted more 'inventory' as you call it than anyone who started the game at the same time as you so you are well ahead of the curve.

Can I ask why therefore you are still unhappy?

Top teams in every league almost makes 2-3 transfers a week. I don't know maybe they are just doing it for fun. I think they are skill upgrading via playing the market. They buy players that they sell for double what they were originally bought for and occasionally sell players for about what they paid when they have bought something on market better than what they had. I don't see many top teams at all that don't make regular transfers.
This is about limiting us to 2 transfers a weeka... slowing the market down? That just slows the game down. Ultimately people who make smarter decisions with their transfers will make leaps and bounds games in skills of their players and/or create extra fundage for themself for arena building (which just transfers into even more fundage) trainer (more skills), doctors and PR (again money makes money).
All the rules are doing is slowing down the market, it is not evening it out.

Why am I not happy?
I'm not ahead of the curve by any means. I wanted to build my own team with the following things-
Players with standable names. I didn't want a guy on waivers named Dickov for example.
Players whose position label matched their skills and height. I didn't want 6foot1 CENTER I drafted or 6 foot 10 point guard. Just seemed silly stupid to me, like many other things.
Players with rounded skills-
Since you can't call plays, set defensive assignments or direct shot selection of players I couldn't see trying to make players who do one thing or another. If trained a guy to be like Dwight Howard, I couldn't have him play with an Orlando like team of three point shooters, because I'd have no way of telling it to let everyone on the team BUT Dwight shoot threes. In this game even if you choose low post offense your center might take 3 3 point attempts. Play calling seems random as to which position goes for the types of shots you are asking for. Even if it goes to the traditional positions what about a princeton offense. In my mind you could have slashing guards, like Tony Parker, and 3 point bombing forwards like Dirk Norwitski, Okur and Rasheed Wallace OR you could have 3 point shooting guards and forwards like LA or Orlando and big post men like Shaq and Dwight Howard.

Anyway my plan was to make some money then use it to buy an all around team, cuz with the way the game strategies are set up that seemed the only thing likely to make sense.

Maybe there could be a method of having a 3 point shooting squad and a inside scoring squad, like an A team and B team then you could put opponents off guard, or you could have a team just devoted to one thing or the other, just make sure every position players works well for how that offense you are going for simulates.

Right now what I have is a random amalgamation of players good enough to beat the computer in league II .

Let's see some data to back up your beliefs. I think you are absolutely wrong. Very few people make double their money on a player worth more than 100k. I also think that not too many people buy and sell two or players every week.

As far as the GE goes, you are wrong again. Occasionally a big man will hoist a three or two (or four in a row to start the second half in my team's case) but shot selection is a function of pace/ offensive tactic/ defensive tactic/ offensive skill/ defensive skill and game situation. If you look closely at the best teams, they have Dwight Howards and Reggie Miller, and both do their jobs. My best shooters shoot the most threes and my big men get the most rebounds, and my best driver gets to the line the most. That sounds like hoop to me.

You should always try for well-rounded players, in real hoop and in this game.

You want to have standable names? what does that mean?

You didn't want a 6'1" center? MEMO: This is a game that is modeled on reality but is in fact a fantasy.

As a fairly new user, what you should have is a random amalgamation of players who can beat the computer. You should have a training regimen in place, an outline of what sort of team you want, a slightly larger than 5000 seat arena and some patience.

Once I scored a basket that still makes me laugh.

I was a daytrader last year and it is good to do for a little bit to fill holes in your team but to try and buy a team to compete in a half a season is wishful thinking at best. This game is a marathon not a sprint.. patience is the key to this game.. peace

The fact is, this game is many many things. While there is undoubtedly an economic aspect to the game... the name of the game is not to garner the most money. It is a long term game to win championships.

In June alone, you have made 91 transactions. That is just an absurd amount.

I decided to see what the best teams in the world have done this month. I took a look at every team still in the BBB competition. These 32 teams combined to make 131 transactions. An average of 4 transactions in June.

Two teams had no transactions. Only one team was over double digits (AlausMegejai who had 12... and apparently decided last week to have a complete remake of the team).

There is a reason you are being "punished"... the game you are playing is not the game the creators of this game wanted played.

I hear you.. but in a shorter answer perhaps you can link me to;

1) So called teams making the money you claim they are making &

2) The teams that started at the same time as you that you feel you are behind the curve against.

No, that's 100% false.

Anyway my plan was to make some money then use it to buy an all around team, cuz with the way the game strategies are set up that seemed the only thing likely to make sense.

So you're plan was to get rich quick based on a transfer market "loophole". That loophole closes when you abuse it, and has been set up that way for many good reasons.

Now that your original plan has run its course, you can still take what you made to jump ahead of so many others that started around the same time as you.

Player can only be transferlisted the same amount of games (45 minutes) he has played in the club.

1 game = 1 chance to be transferlisted

Players form the original team and drafted should be the exception to this.

It's the rule HT implemented and it's working very well
