Outside player a bit hard to train if compare with inside player.. only multi-skill player is costly.
another thing we need to concern is the wage for inside player more expensive if compare with outside player.
Good point as well on the higher wage.
To put it into an easier perspective:
Player 1: All skills at mediocre except for IS, ID, RB and SB at sensational
Player 2: All skills at mediocre except for JS, JR, OD, DR at sensational
Player 1 will be around $60K
Player 2 will be around $40K
In terms of weeks of training (assuming main skills are originally at average):
player 1 will probably take around 30 weeks to train (24 pops)
while
player 2 will probably take around 48 weeks to train (24 pops)
So in summaryInside player for the same skill will have a higher salary compared to outside player.
Inside player of the same salary will sell for a lower price compared to outside player due to lower skill sets
Inside player is easier to train compared to outside player
Whether or not the same skill set will have a higher market price for inside vs outside player is inconclusive for now.
But if we were to reference back to Player 1 and Player 2. Since their skills sets are similar, if their market price is the same (Say $3M). Then it will mean that it is actually more worthwhile to train inside player since it will take only
30 weeks to get $3M for inside player
compared to
48 weeks to get $3M for outside player
So frankly, what I am trying to promote after all this discussion is:
Please train inside players for next seasonThey are worthwhile to be trained and doesn't take long to train compared to outside players.
Plus it will contribute greatly to our Malaysian NT team
