Your country rank is based on your league wins and heavily on your cup results. They accumulate over a few seasons. I think your current roster strength has 0 effect.

SAS - my staff is very expensive I bought a great trainer and he is way too expensive to replace so the weekly costs will just go up and up.

Frank Dowling
Trainer
Skill Level: exceptional
Specialty: None
Last week's salary: $ 42 751
This week's salary: $ 43 712

Once I have my team finalised for the season I may look at turning over my doctor and PR guy but at the moment I am trying to be very tight with the $.

I don't have anything over level 4 in regards to staff. Once their salary gets up near $20k I move them on and purchase replacements down under $15k.

Considering purchasing a level 3 Doctor too.

Actually I often hear moans coming from the dressing room so he must have things firmly in hand.

Of all the things I don't understnd in this game the PR man is probably the one I am most clueless about. I had a level 2 for seasons but late last season I got a level 5 and I am trying to track him for a couple of months to see if he actually pays for himself. So first I will have level 2 for a season. Then now level 5 for a season, then finally back to level 2 for a season. It will be interesting, I am recording my gate and merchandise each week.

Be interesting to see your findings on that. I have always just assumed that a PR guy is mainly for that added boost to home or away games, depending on which specialty you chose.

Yeah sounds like it's going to be a pretty long case study... Perhaps you should reconsider? :-P
