Not sure if you all noticed but I am playing for the World Championship this week in the BuzzerBeater's Best tournament and I hope to bring this honor back to Japan for the first time in 25 seasons.

Whether you are rooting for me to win or hoping I would fail and my team just goes away you should at least come check it out.

Congratulations, Sir... As the opponent was one of my homecountry, but close to the *enemy city* of my hometown (kind of like Tokyo vs. Osaka LOL), I'm pleased with the outcome :).

Unfortunately in our first final game I lost Buss, one of my key players, for 2 weeks. Although he wouldn't really help me to come close to beat you, it's now even more useless. However, I hope your players are a bit tired because they played the BBB final and I'll be able to score some points in the next game ;).

Cheers

@malice, @Rorufuchan thank you both for the congratulations.

I'm very happy to win B3 and represent Japan. I wish I could have pulled it off last season without giving in to the Inside bias of the game but not quite. It's very clear that LI and to a lesser extent LP are the dominant offenses in the game still.

I've decided to have Tetsu Takabe represent my team on the Buzzerbeater cover page. Take a look before you log in and you'll see him in the upper left. I chose him since he is the only primary player I drafted and is Japanese, and also because he has spent many seasons on the National Teams. I thought it would be best to choose a player that represents Japan.

My team is getting older so I will have to start rebuilding before long. I know some of you should be sitting on piles of cash waiting for a good opportunity. Maybe you should think about starting to build now so you can challenge to take over as my team declines. I've decided that since I won B3 and I've only lost 1 game in the last 2.5 seasons that I should keep my team together to try to defend my title. Once I'm eliminated form the B3 competition I will start the rebuilding process.

I'm well overdue for a rebuild. Cold, hard facts: I should have sold off my NT guys a few seasons ago, but I'm finding that VERY difficult to actually do. Pretty much impossible. Can't imagine K-Mat ever playing on a different team...

I've already decided that Takabe will never play for another team. He'll be a player coach into his 50s.

I purchased K-Mat at the beginning of his 3rd season. He'd been trained poorly, but I turned that around. He's been a mainstay of the NT for a very long time, and even now, is still serviceable.

Torii's another I'd have a hard time letting go - he has never played for another club.
