No answer for a mutual TIE request, means (for me) NO.

But what if we know that you reallly, really want it? Sure you've had a couple drinks, and that outfit you're wearing doesn't necessarily mean YES. But still, it would be so good for both of us - it would feel so right.

Why would you want to ruin that?

We can play "Just the Tip (Off)", if you like to ease you into it.

What the hell? I really don't understand your complaints. At first I thaught it was a joke...

I'm very sure that this mutual TIE-ing isn't helpful for fair and balanced gamplay. This game is about competition and tactics for god's sake! Do you think it's fair for the people who don't offer their opponents TIE-ing? Of course not, because they don't get the enthusiasme increase!

So in my opinion people who offer TIE-ing should blame themselves, if their opponents use the revealed tactics against them.

Why don't you add arranged money laundering to the title? Can you make a template for me to ask my friend to "buy a player" for some extra cash?

Intentionally over-bidding is illegal, mutual-TIE (at least as of right now) is not. I certainly think it is against the spirit of the game, and should be discouraged in some official way. I like the idea of having greater loss of fan support for losing on TIE as compared with losing on normal or CT. This has worked in HT, and would enhance the realism of the game.

As for people getting upset about no-responses to TIE requests, if mutual-TIE is part of the game, then so are all the strategies surrounding it. While not responding not a TIE request may be annoying, and lying may be unsportsman-like, they remain a legal part of the game, and a risk you take when you get involved in mutual-TIE.

For my part, if someone requested a mutual-TIE from me I would respond. I would say no, and I would be much less polite about is than I am being in this public setting.

because a no gives you a tell, maybe i should start a thread "against asking for mutuals" TIEs ;) For me saying no to an TIE agreement means that you plan to play normal or much more, so if i'm forced to reply i will tell you yes and do like i want.

In ignoring it could be misunderstood, or something else ...

Maybe you ignore the question, because you won't give a hint to your opponent, and when you are because you give a hint to this player maybe you should think about that there that you had to mutual TIE. if you make it you gain an advantage with the risk of at ell or that you got betrayed.

PS: i like to ask you for an TIE in german and french, i hope you don't understand so that you get punish under the new rules ;)

Fair enough - I would hate to add to the issues,

While mutual ties are legal, I question the regularity used. According to some posts, some teams TIE most of the season - in which is not what I thought it was supposed to be used for.

Never been asked for a Mutual TIE, and while I think it's ok, would not want to see it as a normal practice throughout the game - But it is buyer beware and the team that asked could break it just as easily

Dead on! What a load of s... to even put this up as a problem. I had never heard of the idea of agreeing to boost team morale. I hate the fact that 2 teams dont compete with the rules as they are and try to win every game with the better tactics. Damn it, I would be more ashamed trying to be the one seducing this scam then I would be angry at the one who did not respond or broke the agreement. Just my thoughts.

Please let's not let this turn into a debate as to the merits of Mutual TIE'ing - it's already been universally accepted as the greatest thing about Buzzerbeater. This is not in question.

What is in play is those damn dirty apes that ignore Mutual TIE Requests. A kind and gentle soul reaches out for the good of their team and they forget the most critical of all human gifts - Communication.

And then, THEN, they use this olive branch to their team's advantage. It disgusts and appalls me. It's obvious that I'm not the only one, and I applaud my righteous brothers that have joined my cause and have spoken out against this callous act.
