Phoenix pulled the toughest draw in the Bulls. However, the combo of Engel and Aumayr can have their nights - especially when they aren't in foul trouble. I know I would consider a CT...

In previous seasons this is the part where I point out that it's a terrible idea for Phoenix to CT our cup game, unless you are one of his series mates who gets to face enthusiasm-deprived Phoenix for the next five games.

I would point out that Phoenix still has a good shot at the #2 seed, and would put himself in the drivers seat for the #5 seed (missing the playoffs) with a CT.

I would also point out that I will put out my strongest team, I am at home, and I am basically throwing everything at the Cup this season.

See in previous seasons, I would point all this out - basically make an excellent case why the opponent should not CT ---- and I would still get Crunch Timed.

So this season I will just stay quiet. ;)

I had not realized that the enthusiasm levels changed at this point in the Cup. The incremental cost of going Playoff CT is minimal, so I assume everyone will use it from this point on in the Cup...

Perhaps they should update the Rules on this point.

Yuankang and Drago and Kline are due for 2 week injuries - after that point, all bets are off as we will be about equal on salary!

I'm looking to trade Ron "The Crippler" Jones to Phoenix this week. Jones is most famous for crippling a Lucky Fan, ahead of a two injury game inflicted by my team and then giving Phoenix one for the road. Of course, it was injuries to my team that led me to focus on the Cup in the first place since my guys were recovering in time to get their weekly minutes only in the Cup games...

I could be wrong, but I think this is also neutral court now.

Yeah, seems like pretty useful info to have archived somewhere.

Is it going to be a neutral court?

The rules state:
>> You are free to choose your effort level for each Tournament game – however, be aware that it uses the same enthusiasm rating that affects how well your team will play, so be careful with Crunch Times!

I'm 99% sure at least the final was neutral court, but IIRC, i thought the quarterfinals on where neutral.

Per this post in response to the season 8 changes, looks like just the semi's and final round are neutral.

And I'm not sure what the Machines were doing getting rid of a monster and replacing him with a much weaker center.. unless he just wanted to make a little money off him and replace his salary with a much lower one..

I didn't feel like paying Timoransky 50k a week to be injured, since I'm pretty much losing money on a weekly basis anyway. So i made a fair profit off of him, replaced him with a guys who could defend a little better and was easier on my wallet... and promptly forgot to plug him into my lineup, so I'm currently playing my 3rd string PF/SF at stsrting center. Awesome.

Tremendous rally—the last minute of the game was incredible, but heartbreaking for the McMornings!

Yeah, that was supposed to be a TIE from me as well, had I bothered to set the right lineup. The only thing I managed to have right was my offensive tactics. Lucky for me you missed at the buzzer, cause I wasn't shooting FTs well at all.
