Why don't change SB with a skill called for example "Speed"?

Thanks for the post.

Just to dispell some doubts.

When you say "2) It helps a defender alter some shots, which reduces their chances of going in substantially but not to zero." Here, I'm not sure what you exactly mean.

For instance, you might mean that it "reduces substantially" the chances of a shot of going in but not to zero, so the shot could:
A) Being more easily Block by other defender?
B) Pretend that the event A) did not ocurr, so the shot was actually made but, and this is also important, Is this shot made with the same quality as if it hasn't been "intented" to be block? OR the quality remains equal and this will be the moment when ID starts to play?

I believe these questions are way important to start valuating correctly SB.

as i see now, match viewer ir only for fun. and cannot be used for statistics. only thing i can learn now is how this new GE works when player attack or defend - how they rotate or pick weaker defender.
and of course see how minutes affect low stamina.

is it a block when it goes in for the stats? Maybe is it a block and a own basket here, because the ball hitting the floor - but pretty funny scene.

Whenever a shot is attempted, the game engine does a probabilistic calculation to decide whether it goes in. A shot which is neither blocked nor altered might be calculated as having X chance to go in. A shot which is altered has less than X chance to go in (but greater than 0). A shot which is blocked has 0 chance to go in.

Thanks for your response.

And when you say that shot "goes in" you mean that the shot is simple made, wheter converted or not, OR that shot is actually converted?

This was my major concern.

"Goes in" is a standard American English term for converting a shot in basketball.

He shoots. It goes in. 2 points.
