Looks like Sterling Archer has made his intentions clear for next season.

Will anyone try and keep him honest?

Seeing your team has me even more motivated to try and sneak a 2nd win against Dudehowdy

Maybe you were just intending to bookmark the player and accidentally bid on him

Speaking of which I just noticed Cranshaw back on the market, him and Howarth together would make a good back court duo

Cranshaw is ok, really only better than M. Edwards in OD really, I like my starting 5 for now.

Edwards, Howorth, Aslam/Fernando, Smeltz, Lin

If I can replace Lin with an aussie some time this season I will certainly do so.
I'm hoping to be hard to beat in season 25. I don't think I can best everyone with my bench still lacking some skills.
I have the money to fix it, but will see how I'm doing for a few weeks first.

Getting Howorth at this time of the season is really good, because his GS is totally shot, but matters not as it will reset in a week. :)

No offence Sid, but I kind of hope you're still around next season.
because for 1 it means there's no ABBL relegate on this side, and also coz you're a good competitor who's primary focus is always the training of his trainees. :)

And also because im broke and wouldnt be able to buy up to beat you.

Ryder Palmeri and Williams will probably go up about 30 to 40K between them in salaries for next season, but would be capable of pulling 14s/15s by the end of next season at SF

Bliffi (69K per week) would be sold or sacked and Id be forced to thinking about letting Aitkins go as hed be 33 yo and starting to lose his skills. (that said he'd be hard to replace in output for weekly salary).

Incredibly most weeks this season Ive made a small profit which has covered my weekly interest bills, meaning that id start next season in almost the same financial shape as I did this season

If I kept Aitkins, Id have about 29K per week to pay for a 3rd tall and by end of season my line up would be significantly stronger than what it is now.

Like v Tantrums at the moment, my starting 5 wouldnt be as good as yours, but Id have 4 very capable players coming off the bench.

Smeltz isnt getting any younger

I have a career extension trainer so I hope that can help stop the rot.

What he gains in experience will help lessen the impact of the loss of skills

Looking at your team I am getting extra motivated to get the extra win over Dudehowdy

I think if you wanted to you could win in 2 games.

No offence to Dudehowdy, he has a great team, but I do not expect Sid and his trainees to be in Div2 next season at all.

I think i bought a dud trainee.

i checked his stats before i bought him, he averaged 1.5 fouls in 10 mins, which, its high, but there are various reasons for that, so i didnt really pay much attention to it.

maybe i should have. going through it now he has
- 3 times this season
- 4 times last season.

doesn't seem high right? what about if i said the number of minutes to has taken him to foul out have been
20, 22, 11, 37, 44, 33 and in tonights scrimmage, 15.

hmmmm. thats an average of 30 mins when he fouls out.

so we shall see how he pans out.

Well you did pay only $1,000 for him so I think you got good value. However when you think about how much your trainer costs and the opportunity cost of not training another player who you could potentially sell for $100,000 or more after a season of training maybe you should lash out another $1,000 for someone better...
