For the logo, i was thinking about modifying a bit the actual one: same animal and same typography, but changing the shape of the shield to a round one and making it more basketball related somehow.
And for the banner, i thought to put the current typography and put it between the dog and a basketball.
Both things simple, not too overcharged. For the colors, i'd like the actual ones: red, black and white.
This is more or less my idea, but you are completely free to try other things.
