Good stuff.

My Missus has started the 12 week body transformation by Michelle Bridges this week.

I'm loving the healthy eating too.

Awesome work chubs... i mean... Skyhookz... keep it up. :)

I've started working out pretty madly again since i was put onto this little website.

www.fitocracy.com

it's like.. a real like role playing game where by, you work out, you log your work outs, you get points depending on what you do and you level up, do quests, get achievements etc etc etc.

I highly recommend it as it's kind of a motivational tool as well.
When I get home, first thing i normally do is sit down and open the laptop... well I keep fitocracy open on there all the time, so when i see that i go "oh yeah!" and then go smash weights for a while, or do whatever.

ITS AWESOME.

Food is the biggest change for us. Smaller portions, low fat and sugar.

The saying 'stick to the outside of the supermarket' is so true. Fruit, vegetables, meat, dairy. Just don't look at the Easter eggs and soft drink on the ends of the aisles.

The 12wbt has you working out 6 times a week too. Circuits, weight's cardio, etc. 2 hr footy trainings burns some cals too.

Awesome stuff, Skyhookz. I'm about to start training for city to surf again. I've been very unmotivated due to stressful home life this year but sick of the excuses. Time to stop talking baout and just do it!

That is the spirit Matty! I read somewhere the other day that stopping the excuses is the first step people have to take...

Look, when it comes to focusing on something...mental will power if you like...I'm extremely good at it. I just have a period prior to it where I'm kind of 'building'. That is, I know I'm about to go for it and enjoy the 'not going for it' before I go for it! Confused? lol I'm spinning shit now.

D-Day: Monday 20/2/2012 (training begins)

Nice.

I'm currently 105 kg. Last year at about the time I did the City to Surf I was 95 kg. Not the best of holidays! lol

I'm 5'11 or a touch over 6'0" with shoes on so I'm definately overweight for my height. I believe it should be about 80-85kg although I don't mind having some bulk. I'm going to be a little more serious this year and am aiming to get to and stay around 85-90kg. we'll see what happens.

The mind is the most powerful thing on this planet. You want to get to 97 bad enough you'll get there...it really is that simple. However, the 'doing' part is far from simple...as you already know I'm sure...
