Bigger upset, Headless Thompson Gunners beat my team. Thought I could get away with a normal and having a couple of starters come off the bench.

It's been fun, I'm out, at least for a bit.

Dont't these things already come in 3's? 21-1 Blenkensop also lost in the Naismith.

HTG was even selling players in anticipation of a loss.

Cerebral can still likely promote if either Pszczyna or myself win our leagues. After seeing that 1st round, I wouldn't count on anything being certain.

I wrote on my league forum not to underestimate sherbrookers......

Now Scarborough probably has a chance to getting to Naismith since they saved the enthusiasm

Geez, another #1 seed lost in II.2. The #4 Big Ballerz beat the #1 St Louis Beasts.

And it looks like Fundamentally Sound has retired.

Crazy night.

I can't wait for tommorow's game. Had a bit of luck and last week's minutes management was perfect and it reflected in game shape :D

You put up what are probably the best player ratings in div2 all season. Nice time to show what your team can really do.

They were strong because 4 of my top 7 players put up their best ratings all season. But Fundamentally Sound was putting up better ratings than this at the end of the regular season. I think you're ratings last night were comparable, your Center is a stud.

Second Team:
Canada Purple Haze BC
DIVISION II.4 Championship

The Hounds were always going to the final.
A division that might have played tougher turned softer than grandmas gums with her teeth out.
The Montreal Rocket decided to sit back for a season.
2 potential contenders turned bot and another probably should have.
Over in the Big 8, it was going to be a crapshoot.
Then Fundametally Sound put Denny Hall (18665337) up for sale.
That's when all hell broke loose.
He sold for $4,053,000 and FS had the money to win.
The rest of the division kissed their hopes goodbye as the Sound built up to what seemed like Div II's best team.
Something happened on the way to their promotion, they underestimated my Headless Thompson Gunners as Pero Mladenovic had the game of his life, going off for 70 points.
Heck, if The Clodhoppers knew that was going to happen they might have made a stronger effort at a run to the title.
I also underestimated the possibilities and sold my players instead of perhaps bulking up.
Probably would have been no problem for the Ravens anyway in the league semi final but it allowed the Ravens a little leeway in enthusiasm, something the Hounds have had for some time.
The Ravens had put in a bid for the uber-talented Cosmin Cardei (9672731) and surprisingly hung onto him never thinking the Sound would go down.
Well they did.
Now the Ravens sit on the doorstep of greatness.
Ravens vs Hounds, who would have thought?
Let's get ready to rumble!!!!!!!
