Although this forum seems lifeless, let's try to motivate people into talking ... C'mon, don't just make your line-ups twice a week !

Plenty of surprises in the Cup tonight, with BBBL teams dearly paying their optimism against lower profil rosters :

Obira and Angels went out against D.3 sides,
bavi and boes are also out against D.2. (although Angi's Estrellas can hardly be considered as such)

FTA had a very hard qualifying themselves finishing with 2 lucky fans on the court ...

There will be no clash between BBBL teams on the next round, although holders Vottem Cowboys face a tough game away at Estrellas' ...

o.k. .....this one hurts once again.
Were dealing with a 'horror' season.
Like I said before....where is the drive of the dragons....We are making mistake after mistake. (out of focus)
The team is our of balance. We have to make a descision realy soon.
What are we up to ???

Yeah, that was funny to watch...5 players on the sheet, C injured after 3 minutes => Lucky fan enters and scores 2 FT stright away, nice!

Beginning of the 4th quarter PG injured, Lucky in charge of the game...and yet, I won!...I guess it was Lucky fans playing for a lucky manager :-)

...anyway, I take it as it comes, not an easy season and so, the cup brings a bit of satisfaction and fun :-)

@ Dartreb, congrats on your first half of the season!...but it make sense, only good teams promote from DII4 ;-))
@ ppmmp, you were there too, I'm sure you'll come back to a more decent ranking...but no need to start this Saturday huh! (why are we always playing in your arena!?!? haha)

I must admit promotion came as a bit of surprise to me - but that's right, II.4 rocks :) But without my 2 nice reinforcements I would never be able to hold. Now I must be realistic, admit that things aren't over yet and competition to avoid relegation will be fierce to the very end.

Now I also have hopes in the Cup, with a nice draw I might get lucky and go any further, who knows ?

However saving my skin in the BBBL remains primary objective. (And 7 - 5 with -79 PA is lol)

Argh ... I'm the only side losing their home game tonight.

I expected Amenra to drop this game, but he played at full strength. Blast it !!! That might be hurting when it'll come to escape relegation. FTa and Bradok are now only a couple of games away, and still I must play at theirs, not to mention that their point average is much better than mine ... that's stinking for good.

Indeed, this conference is hell ...

what is really unfair is that Bradok, who's 8th in our division, will be directly regulated, where as he would make the PO's in the other conference... (without mentioning that his draftspot is going to be worthless...)

This conference sure is hell. And the most amusing part of it all? Boes and Amenra are benefitting from this the most. In our conference, several teams could beat the first team. Where as Boes and Amenra will be battling between eachother for the top spot...So whoever ends first in the other conference, is likely to have HCA in the PO's...

My trainee Mika is 4 weeks injured, BFTA beat boes, meaning that BFTA will likely win the next game and get within one game of me. Kinda bad timing that injury...

Anyhow, our division sure is hell.

I don't think Bradok will end 8th ; but whichever team it will be, it surely won't deserve to play in D.2 next season.

Whichever way it goes, I just hope that it won't be just a matter of injuries to determine which team will stay or drop. That would be too painful for the victim :/

But I must agree with Joe, there were injuries all over the place this season, I've rarely seen such things. Because in addition to the players having to spend 1 week or more at the hospital, I have seen many injured players during games that didn't stay injured (happened twice for me, at least 3 times for FTA, and so on, ...)

Well to be continued. As for myself, I'm still far from being safe, but I will fight fiercely to stay here.

Nt was hit by injuries too. Several Nt players took hits, where as the previous 3 seasons, we hardly ever saw an injury on a NT player...

Vercaigne is going to miss the NT competitive season due to his injury that he got. Marchoul got injured twice and will miss the competitive Nt season too...

Not much you can do against that.

As for who is going down: the 8th spot is going to be a real fight and it's not going to be enjoyable. Bad draft spot and certainly not the weakest team to go down... considering that one of our teams (Either Kelmis or my Angels) should have been in the other conference, but ended up ehre cause Sonics quite the game, is quite painfull... Rebuilding your team in the BBBL in our conference could really see you get demoted. i'm glad i've done most of my team building part last season. I reckon just surviving and saving cash will likely be the best option for several teams now in our conference, just incase we do get regulated.

Suns, Spartans, BFTA, Angels and Canin. Any of these teams could make the PO's, just like any of these teams could end up 8th (while making the PO's in the other conference) that is just nuts! Either injuries will determine who ends 8th, or it's going to come down to who manages their economies the best to avoid the 8th spot...
