Regardless of which one of us makes it to the finals, what's the odds on either of us forsaking training enough to win the best of three? And even if we did forsake it, do you really believe either of us could beat either of them twice, once being on the road?

I trained GS this week(First time in club history), and am already planning on forsaking training if I make it.

Perfect GS! I guess training GS can be worthwhile after all. Question is, will it be enough.

It's down to the crunch time. Tied with seven minutes left... Great game.

Thanks! I can't believe I actually won. I thought you would beat me for sure. Just wish I had gotten a chance to watch it live, but I got to see the end so that is all that matters. It was a well played game, it is a shame to see an injury in a game like that, but valiant effort by the riverdogs anyways.

That's a ridiculous game 3 of the Finals. And I forget if it was you or not, but the NBBA demotee doesn't appear to be going Ice Storm on us by gutting.

Congrats and good luck.

To be fair, though, I believe Ice Storm gutted 1.5 seasons before he even got here.

Thanks to everyone for the congratulations and well wishes. I'm not too optimistic right now with my team's chances given my current state of my team, but we will see what I can do to improve and hopefully I will be able to stay up. Looking at the new teams, looks like I got out right in the nick of time!

So I'm not sure if I'm over reading into this, but I'm starting to wonder if the whole LI is overpowered thing is necessarily true.

The finals was a matchup of teams who primary strength was guards, with both of them beating LI teams along the way (I think we can still classify Machines as a LI team???). Last season's winner was a guard team (Wiggles) over a LI team. And the season before, Jests was a guard team and he beat a LI team.

Just for kicks and giggles I figured out the record of each offensive tactic this playoffs.

RNG 4-2 (two losses to PTB)
LI 2-3 (two wins against LP)
LP 0-2
PTB 3-0
Patient 0-2

Of course this might be slightly skewed by the makeup of the teams that won and the small sample size, but I found it interesting nonetheless.
