Since I didn't understand the majority of this message, I guess I'm unable to comment on it or them.

Let me help. There are one or more suggestions out there that accomplish all of the following:

1. Every team retains its national identity and retains its flag.
2. Every country could continue in BBB.
3. Every country would continue to have its own forum.
4. Countries that do not want to merge with each other would not have to do that.
5. Every world would have a full Division 1, 2 and 3 at least, and probably a full Division 4.
6. The competitive and financial advantages and disadvantages of playing in a macro country or a micro country would be completely evened out.
7. Every team could retain its own history.
8. The drafts could continue as they do now, making it easy to put better players in the draft and have it apply to everyone evenly.
9. Private Leagues could become more important to the game as they showcase teams of the same country.

What do you think?

I don't know why you continue to include the bit about private leagues. That's a supporter feature that allows the user to play against anyone. It shouldn't be reserved for country games only if the user doesn't desire that.

I have 1757 players for sale and I'm $25,835,360 in debt. Buy them at outrageous prices, or be selfish and make me go bankrupt. You decide, BB.

Private leagues can currently be formed and played only by supporters, that's true ... currently. And they can do it for any reason, including some sort of informal national cup competition if they choose. But we are talking about changes being considered, and I don't think any change should be beyond consideration.

Changes should be considered. We can agree on that. However, the BBs won't and shouldn't remove a piece of the game that users have genuine control over for competition.

Private Leagues? All I'm saying is that if some people want to use them that way, they can ... just like now. They can use them any way they please. I'm not saying the bosses would restrict that. The possible change i would contemplate would be allowing even non-supporters to use PL's, perhaps for a fee less than full supporter or perhaps for no fee at all. All open to consideration.

First of all, Manon, thank you for taking the time to consider these things and respond constructively. That's really what I've been looking for from someone all along.

1. True, it may not be strictly needed, but surely you have seen the intensity of the feelings about this expressed on the forums, and we don't need to strip anyone of their flag or their national identity.
2. I agree with you, but again, we don't need to deprive anyone of the chance to play in BBB.
3. I agree, we don't need to delete forums, and people will use them, or not, as they wish.
4. Not redo, agreed. It will take a thorough job now to prevent that. Crushing unfriendly nations together unnecessarily wouldn't be consistent with that goal.
5. Check.
6. Check.
7. Check.
8. Well, I agree with you. I'm just saying the opportunity would be there now or if needed in the future.
9. Some people really put a lot into PL.s, and retaining them is a plus.

Thanks again for your contribution. We agree almost 100% after all it seems.

Regarding PLs he didn't say they would be removed. He just said they don't have anything to do with the micro issues or merging.
