I also think that it would be a useful addition. Drawback with it would be that the prizes for a national player could be way too high. At hattrick potential national players are sold for absurd money and could be similar thing here.

I was thinking of a player from a very small country with average at best skills. That is the players with ridiculous transfer fees. IF comparing it would be $1M for a player with star potential and 3k salary.
