I played in your league in season 7, won your division, and got promoted.

My advise is stay right where you are and focus on training for another season. You will get slaughtered with "Pitiful" perimeter defense in division IV.

I would Herm Edwards your league. You play to win the game. WIN your league if you have the chance. I am sure with your record you have made some decent money. Money enough to buy a player or two, or build your arena.

You could easily end up in a D IV league that is terrible. Many D IV managers still come and go, don't check teams, become computerized, etc. Half of my D IV league never check anything or are already on second manager (or soon to be so).

This is fantasy basketball. Why not move up when you have a chance to ..ESPECIALLY in lower leagues like we are in? You will adapt to your league. Who cares if you get relegated down? You won't in the lower leagues if you pay attention at all to your team. Now when you get into the bigger leagues ...I am not there, so I don't know, but this may become a harder decision. I just hate the idea of not moving up and purposely wasting 3 months in the same league when you can move up because of things like training or money.

THis will not happen in D IV ..but other divisions ...but there is the chance of moving up, and get relegated back down and "wasting" a couple of seasons getting back, but again...who cares? so what. Fantasy basketball! Staying in a league runs the risk of a great team getting relegated to your league as well ...and winning your league the next year all because you chose to stay there to train perimeter defense? Give me a break.

Win your league.

Except we'd want him to actually, you know, win.
