thats kinda gay if you cant change your guys position... Look at the NBA... Josh Smith for the Alanta Hawks started as a SF and now he's a PF... That's a perfect example....

Yeah, nearly perfect. Because if you want to play your SF on PF than just do it. And if you want his displayed position to be changed, than just train him. Josh Smith wouldn't play PF now, if he had not improved in some of his skills.

you don't have a handicap, if you play a player in another position but the desplayed position is what the system think would fit the best for him.

That is a question for the help forum.

(The answer is... if you want him to be your PG, play him at PG. If you want the suggested position to change, then yes, train passing and handling (and other guard skillsets).

You're placing far too much importance on something that is meaningless. The playing position displayed is simply a suggestion based on their stats. It's there mainly to help new starters have a general idea of who they need where and what skills those positions generally need. But as you get more experienced with the game you might want different stats at certain positions. For instance I play a very outside focussed offence so it's more important to me that my point guard can shoot than pass so i play a "shooting guard" in my point guard spot.

If you train a player then eventually they will change their displayed position. For instance this season my "power forward" changed to a "center", but that certainly hasn't stopped me playing him at the power forward spot.

So in short - just ignore it. Play and train which ever player you think best at the position you think best in the line up.

You are right. The thing is that I want my players to short by position every time I visit the roster page...

I wanted that too, so I bought the supporter package and gave my players numbers to sort them. When I open up my roster now they're nicely organised.

The only way to have them as you want... can the game ''remember'' our sorting preferences, please?
