Well I have to disagree with you on this subject.
You have to look at the average cost of the two trainers, if you kept reinvesting in a new one when it is cheaper to buy a new one. If you keep buying Brollos for $1.000 the best option is to buy a new Brollo when the old reaches a salary of 45398 or in week 8 (where week 0 is where you bought him), then you have to pay 1.000+45.398 (not 38.747)=46.398, the total salary for the 9 weeks is 38.747+39.522+.....+45.398=377.963, so the average cost of the trainer pr. week is
(46.398+377.963)/9=47.151.
With the other trainer it is more viable to keep him longer, in fact you should keep him until week 38, where his salary is 33.473 the total salary will be 918.518 for the 39 weeks. and the you have to pay the 433.473 when you buy a new one. Average cost pr. week: (918.518+433.473)/39=34666.
It can also be wise to get a "Yaseen" and keep him a long time, you can save a lot of money:-)

Ja, I forgot the fee all Brollos demand after some weeks in the club. Still I find Mr Brollo more attractive than the cheaper ones.
But I see your point, and if your liquidity is good, it can be smart to go for a Yaseen for a long time engagement.

keeping a trainer for about 3 seasons is one less headache. i don't know how you would quantify that benefit.

It may be the best option to buy the one with high salary, but if you have plenty of liquity it is cheaper to spend a large sum to get a low salary. If you look at the calculation you can actually save 10k a week when buying the one with low salary.

You can avoid the fee by cutting your trainer instead of replacing him. You do this after the training goes through and before the salary is payed. Then after the salary goes through you get the replacement. Best time to do it is when you are doing team training, so that you can keep that lvl 1 trainer an extra week or two and save some more.

You are mislead there:
* Gianluigi Lopez requests a severance payment of $ 43 165, due immediately.
* He will be replaced by a random Level 1 Trainer.

That's what happen when I'll fire him!

He actually has a point. Take this example.
You have a trainer who costs 45k per week. Tuesday you can buy a trainer with a salary of 35k and costs 1k.
If you just buy him normally you will pay 45k salary monday +45k severance fee tuesdag+ 1k.=91k
If you fire him saturday you will pay 45k saturday+1k salary monday+1k=47k

I think these fix ideas are outside the normal way of running a team. It's a bit like my uncle storing empty bottles in hope of a raise in the deposit for them one day. He died before the raise of the deposit ever happened ... But of cause, some run for hours backwards as well in hope to meet the lost love.
