I tend to agree with you about the (non-)usefulness of a dunk contest... but, really, do you have to play the I-have-a-life card with everthing you suggest? I can't imagine you're winning over any converts this way.

Do I watch the games "live" ? Huh, no. I have things to do around the house because I'm not a kid anymore, sadly. Would I read a dunk contest ? Certainly not. Yep, I wrote "read a dunk contest".


Besides the rudeness, explain how a dunk contest being implemented would impact your life.

Im in favor of this dunk competition.

we know that its a text based game but that doesnt mean it shouldn't be implemented.
For example the view live feature in the game.
All we see are circles and "X"s
Then we read what happens.

Call me crazy...
But i still find it exciting when my team makes that 3 point shot to put us in the lead, or when we have a few offensive boards in a play.

So even though the dunk contest may not be the most exciting to watch, i think its still worth taking a look at to see how cool we could make the thing.
